  3. Soon....

Fokker E.I & E.II are almost ready. We'll be doing two of each type with varying armament (Spandau or Parabellum), headrest and wheel configurations. *note , the skins are the E.III stock ones being used as place-holders. v. Deutschmark is working up a batch of new ones and Peter is doing his usual magic with the FM's
  4. Available now: Fokker E.III and Fokker E.IIIa (Two-gun variant) Model by Laton Skins by v. Deutschmark FM by peter01 (original FM by peter, with a few tweaks he & I have been working on together for the last few days) More skins to come from v. Deutschmark and the Release pack also includes a full set of templates for anyone who wants to make & release their own skins. Note: I haven't tested these on a system with Bort's versions so if you have them installed you should probably backup or rename the folders so that these don't over-write them. The E.I/E.II should be out in the next week or so. The E.IV probably the week after that.
  5. Beautiful piece of work mate. Amazing!
  6. Among other things I've been messing about with the AI setting trying to get: a.) more effective/dangerous AI and b.) more distinct differences between the levels. This is what I've come up with: Link Its a new AIRCRAFTOBJECT.INI file, unzip it into your \Objects folder - please check first and backup your copy if you already have one in that folder. Just delete the file to go back to the game settings. Work-in-progress so I'll be interested to know what you think. I have to say that at the higher AI levels they engage at much shorter range so an initial head-on pass can be a lot more interesting as the AI don't 'flinch' as much :)
  7. AI Tweaking

He was. I'm pretty sure there have been new AI settings added since then. Thanks for the feedback those that have PM'd me. Version2 Getting some nice, long lasting, 'swirling' dogfights with this. The AI seem to manoeuver against each other a lot more. I've taken a few things back to their default values, a dramatically changed a few others. If you compare the AI settings you'll see what I've been playing with BTW, anyone who want to take this as a start and have a go at playing with these settings is more than welcome to, I'm about to get back onto the E.I/E.II variants (probably 4 of those) and the E.IV so this will go on the back-burner for me for a while
  8. AI Tweaking

I honestly don't know. I think there are some AI settings introduced in the last patch that are FE specific. You could give it a try but its an 'at your own risk' thing.
  9. AI Tweaking

No mods to any aircraft, this is just general AI behaviour.
  10. New FM's

Hi Guys, peter01 is heading off on a business trip and asked me to post revised FM's for the following aircraft that he's worked up: Moraine-Saulnier Type H Moraine-Saulnier Type L Moraine-Saulnier Type L O Moraine-Saulnier Type L AO Pfalz E.I Pfalz E.III Pfalz E.III O Pfalz E.III AO I've just loaded the pack to the WW1 flight model section at CombatAce, they should be available soon. I'll also put them up on the Effects page of my website and update the release versions/packs on CA in the next day or so.
  11. Very nice Peter, In the next few days I'll go back and update all the prior release packs with the new FM's
  12. The results are not what you'd expect

  16. Remember Kids

Just make sure its a rotary-engined rock in this case
  17. Coming along: E.I/II E.III E.III - Two gun version E.IV Pit

  19. Fokker Eindecker Family

It'll be part of the pit.
  20. Something for you to chase down in Bort's aircraft The Savoia Pomilio SP.3 Model & FM by Laton Skins by v. Deutschmark **Thanks to the SFP1 Dev A-Team (capun, CB Productions, Charles, Kesselbrut & The Wrench) for kindly providing the front gunner 3D Mesh** She's equipped for bombing and ground attack as well as balloon-busting (but get in close - you only have a few shots). Fast, especially if you're in an early war fighter, but with an upper wing-tank that's vulnerable and can have spectacular results if you can hit it. Available at CombatACE. More skins to come from v. Deutschmark and the Release pack also includes a full set of templates for anyone who wants to do their own skins.
  21. It could be a similar problem to the one that you sometimes get with the A-Team Camel. Have a look in the FlightEngine.ini file (you may need to extract it from the FlightData.CAT) and check the GraphicsSettings section. It should look like this: [GraphicsSettings] ZBufferDepth=24 MaxVertexCount=16384 MaxIndexCount=32768 MaxTextureCount=16384 MaxModelType=2048 MaxMeshPerScene=2048 MaxModelPerScene=4096 MaxLightPerScene=1024 AspectRatio=1.333333 MinPixelSize=1.0
  22. Is it happening at a specific point? Dropping bombs, landing?
  23. Cheers, Now the SP.3 is out I'll be back onto the E.I/II/III/IV series The model itself is almost done, have to add the rigging and a few details. Then I'll start in on the pit. Edit to add: Mapped & in-game shots
