  1. When you take the photos use as high resolution as you can and don't lower the resolution afterwards. Good high resolution pictures are almost non-existant and are much needed.
  2. Ok, I have these things on the to-do list for the su-7: - Fix SPO-10 text - Change, remove, replace the radar panel lights - Change, remove, replace the radar panel switch - move gunsigt closer to pilot - add periscope (only maybe)
  3. I see that that aircraft has a mirror on its canopy. Is that canopy split like the su-15 canopy or how does it look?
  4. Wow, I'm amazed I at least got something right! :) I do not speak russian at all and the pictures I used for reference were so low resolution no text at all could be read from them. So I am really surprised someone who knows russian actually can read some of the instruments. For translaltion from english to russian I used altavista babelfish! And since I didn't know I just guessed. For help regarding the instruments you can't understand I've made a manual for the su-15 cockpit which can be found at my website Boopidoo Aerospace. However, thanks for pointing these things out. I will fix them in time. They will also be fixed in the origional su-15tm cockpit since this a/c will be updated to function well after the latest patches. About the fixes: The radar panel with lights, should the whole panel be removed or just the lights and texture? Or should we remake the panels into something else. I mean to create new parts specifically for the su-7? If so I need really good reference material. The radar selector switch can easily also be removed since it isn't needed, however we could also change the text into something else. Suggestions? The system lights for the autopilot has never been functional not even in the su-15tm pit that's why I never wrote about them in the manual. I could never find a way to turn them on when that specificif autopilot mode was turned on. I don't know if this possibility has emerged in any of the later patches? Anyone who knows this? If it is possible I will update this on the su-15tm pit, otherwise I will still turn them off. The SPO-10 texture will be updated. I guess I just copied paladrians text since my reference material was way too bad when the texture was made.
  5. Pit request @Kukulo/Boopidoo

I will think about it. :)
  6. Well since they made the su-27 pit on my 3d-model, they might just agree to let me make something with their model. I have to ask them though, but I can't see why that would be impossible. Also, it's great that you notice these things that needs to be adjusted. I may have moved the ADI-cylinder without meaning to, it weill be fixed. Also the HUD texture seems to be a little off to the right. If you notice anything else, please notify us.
  7. Well, it is quite a lot of things that doesn't fit. However, it might be a temporary solution that's better then anything else out there. Didn't anyone make a Su-11 model a long time ago? That may be able to use a twin-engine modified cockpit.
  8. A twin-engine version would not take many minutes to make since the original cockpit for the Su-15TM had instruments for two engines. I would just have to re-arrange some stuff and kukulino would have to undelete those lines in the ini.
  9. I will be on an exercise this weekend so I'll have to check that issue next week. Happy holidays everyone! :)
  10. Are you sure that this applies to all Su-7 versions? Anyway, I'll see what I can do but if it is too much work I'll leave it as it is. Too make this cockpit a dedicated su-7 cockpit as much as it was a dedicated su-15 cockpit would take too much work anyways.
  11. I guess some more work has to be done such as some shading problems on the HUD. But until we know if these are seen in-game I wait. ALso the HUD may need some extra part to work concerning the sights etc.
  12. Some progress shots. I've now sent a .LOD of this cockpit to kukulino to do some ini-editing. I do hope the model works out otherwise I'll have to try to fix it. /Simon
  13. Now I've at least started up 3dsm again and I've made a quick render after I've removed the gunsight and radar and added the hud. WHat do you think? I have still to remove the rpm gauge for engine no 2 but the textures still remain for the dual gauges. I really don't know if those textures need to be edited. I guess the needles just don't move if it's a single engine a/c. I hope that it's possible to use 3dsm9 and export to .lod since that is the version I'm using.
  14. Ok, I'll help but It'll take some time if that is ok? Also, the resulting cockpit will NOT be as in the picture as I see several things that aren't the same but it'll be better then the Su-15 cockpit as it is now. /Boopidoo
