  1. Is there a way to edit the single mission generator, particularly the planes you fly against?
  2. I suppose I could use that mod enabler Jonesoft or something to enable/disable aircraft. Wonder if that would work. The other option is to edit campaigns, but my middle east campaigns CTD and I'm too lazy right now to figure it out. How does the game pick who you fly against in single missions? Just random?
  3. I thought I had one, but I don't have a skyraider. The only thing here in the planes is an AD-4. Is there an A-1H somewhere around?

  7. I know this has been asked quite a few times, and it sounds like there isn't one, but are there any cockpits around. Assuming the answer is no, is there anything else to use besides the A-4 cockpit?

  10. Thanks. That's what I figured. How do I use the Su-17 pit? What files do I need to copy? That would be better I think than the A-4 at least.
  11. I know this is cheating, but was wondering if there is any way to have icons on all the time, really only for missiles? When I fly the russians, i get whooped and have trouble seeing the missiles.

  13. Yup, that's where the Dueses effects are. Have that, just haven't installed. You mentioned a different sam/smoke mod or something here at CA. Thought there was something in addition to deuces. I can see the sam's launch. Can't see the sams that good, but better than A/A missiles. Can't see them at all until they wizz past. By then, it's too late if you're in a russian bird.
  14. I haven't tried deuces effects yet. Only the terrains. I'll give it a shot. Couldn't find the sam/smoke trail effect here. Any idea where it is. Um, so you can see the missiles no probs?
  15. It seems to work. It padlocks the sam or the plane that launched the missile. It just doesn't padlock the missile itself. Problem is I can't see it. I can see it a split second before it hits me. How does anyone else see/avoid these things? It's not a prob with the american planes (except for sams, but i just go low for them). The russian A to A missiles seem really bad in this game. Playing the russian planes is a problem. I don't think I've survived a mission yet with the Mig 23.
  16. I suppose that's an idea. Any idea where I can find one? I looked here in object mods. Sounds like nobody else has any problem seeing these things. All I do is hit R if I hear a missile launch, but it's a prayer on whether I maneuver properly.
  17. I've noticed the F-16A's out there don't have sparrows available. Is this historically accurate?
  18. I was going to d/l and install the middle east campaign, but was wondering if there is a voice pack for it somewhere or does everyone use the english voices for it?

  20. Thanks for the feedback. I guess the good news is I haven't been cheating by adding the pods. Bad news is, I have alot more to go for LB1 and LB2. Plus, I think I have to restart my campaigns to get them available. Oh well.
  21. Too bad. American voices for Israeli and Arabic missions is sort of an immersion killer. Agreed it would be cool someday.
  22. I edited one of the WOE stock campaigns to a carrier campaign with an F-18. Works great. One thing I noticed, when I ask for vector to home base, it always gives me the wrong location. I think it directs me to where the carrier was originally (not sure). I have to leave it in autopilot to find the carrier. Any way to fix this?
  23. Didn't think of ground radar. That's a good idea. Gotta admit I never really use it that much. I'm pretty sure in WOV carrier campaigns, you ask for a vector home and it will get you pretty close to the carrier. WOE not even close, like 20 miles not even close.
  24. Checked the knowledge base but couldn't find this. I want to make ECM pods available to the WOV campaigns. I've added weapons in WOE as there is a campaign_data.ini in each campaign folder. However, there is no campaign_data.ini in each of the WOV folder, so I figure it has to be extracted from somewhere.
