This skin represents the colorful mount of 9/JG 3 pilot Alfred Sarau in fall of 1943, as it would appear just before a mission. This plane represents a fairly early G-6 model. It carries a simplified camouflage splinter of RLM 74 gray-green, RLM 75 violet gray over RLM 76 Blue. It carries the FuG 16 zy antenna mounted under the fuselage, rather than out on the wing as seen in many later examples. It is also equipped with the FuG 25a antenna just under the cockpit. Place the bitmap in your IL-2/paintschemes/skins/Bf 109G-6 folder and have a great flight. Skin,Template, and Cockpit Detail by Baron von Blutwurst Engine,Gun, and gear leg by FlyByShooter -

Possible to change vital stats
Baron von Blutwurst replied to Hitman47's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: Mods & Skinning Chat
Hitman you need to install IL-2 Forgotten Battles first..then Ace Expansion Pack...then Pacific Fighters in that order...PF will ask if you want a merged install (PF+FB+AEP),say yes and they become a cohesive unit..you only need the PF disc to play from there.. IL-2 Sturmovik is not compatible with the other 3. If you dont have FB then AEP wont work, but PF will on its own. Hope this helps...cheers -
Stay Away from Maxtor drives
Baron von Blutwurst replied to a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Capun It's funny you brought that up..My original Maxtor from 98 died a little over a week out of warranty..I've never bought another. My WD and Seagate drives are up to 8 years old and still kicking..I've gone thru more optical drives than hard drives...go figure.. -

How to ?
Baron von Blutwurst replied to syborg's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: Mods & Skinning Chat
I know this may seem ridiculous, but I have caught myself forgettingto do it too at times. Remember that the bitmap has to be 1024x1024/Indexed Color/and saved to the appropriate folder in your UBi Soft/IL-2/paintschemes/skins/(whatever make and model plane you did is). To test it, just go to your QMB and choose your aircraft type..(the one with your skin)..and go to aircraft customization...choose your skin and APPLY..fly it and have fun..Try and name the file something like "my plane P-47" for example, this way you dont confuse it with other skins you have added. Hope this helps you out SYBORG. Baron von Blutwurst -
