Dear Flyer, Having been a combat pilot and civil pilot it's pretty safe to say that it won't be like the actual aircrafts characteristics, especially if it is a fly-by-wire aircraft. However what some of the developers have done is incorporate as much realism to the flight models. Are they difficult, yes, for me the most realistic models are from Vietnam back and they indeed are bears to handle. So you get one scarey ride, one bcause noones flight controls for computers will match the actual and two, because of the afore mentioned issues of flight model building. But overall they are as real as you will get. The only other flight models I have found which give the most realistic handling are from Oleg's Il-2 series. So enjoy the sims at whatever reality setting you like knowing that the people who engineered the models did their best to give a realistic feel for what those aircraft would act like. Good flying............

Let me say as a late comer to the sim, this site is the bomb! In a good way! This site has become my home base for all my sims that I use. I want to thank everyone at this and all the contributers for their faithful work in making the Woe/Wov/Project 1 the best I have ever seen. I can't wait to see what is coming in 2007. Surprise me!!!!!!!!!!

My issues with crashing and freezing have not abaited. By next week I will have a new video card. But in the mean time I would like to know if there would be a problem with running SF-Project 1 in a XP media center enviroment, could this be a problem? If so, is there a way of stripping down this version of XP, if it is a problem. Maybe a dumb question, but I had to ask. Thanks

Does anyone know where I can download WW2 weapons for Strike Fitghter. I can't seem to find any . Combatace was no help, there must be a site where someone has made WW2 aircraft :bombs, rockets, guns, etc. Thanks in advance

The x-200 is a Radeon but I have been told its more a chipset than a real card. So somehow I think there maybe the snag. I have all the upgrades and it still freezes. I have reloaded it about 8 times now thinking I have done something wrong. But to no avail. As I said this system is brand new and runs much more ram intensive than this basic flight sim. I love the game but it is getting me, really in a rut. Since I am an ex-pilot of the jet age and love the era.

Since I purchased Strike Fighter some weeks back. I have been in the midst of crashes freezes and general mayhem. So that anyone who sees this will know. I am running a brand new P-4 Intel duo core 3 gig a hertze processor, 1 gig of ram, x200 video, 9c directx and have updated my motherboard with the latest upgrades and also the latest upgrades for the x200. I have updated the games with every patch that has been offered and still encounter the same issues at no particular time during the games running. So if you have a clue as to what maybe going on, then I am all ears. I really don't get to enjoy the game because i have little opportunity too, since these situations keep arising. Thank you in advance.

I am a newbie to this program and would like to know the proper way to install skins into Strike Fighter project 1. Can anyone elp me on this subject? Thanks
