I thought it needs the stock thirdwire 104 cockpit which can be found of SF and SFG. The only other option is to use a different cockpit lik the A-4 pit or sumthin. You need to use the weapons editor to update the library after you dump the weapons(or tanks) inside the weapons folder and updated the weaponsdate.ini.

I thought the NF-5As had certain Nordic modifications that requires a different lod model file.

Why not a Eagle F.Mk.1 borrowed from usaf F-15A/C stocks as a stopgap pending the arrival of much troubled Typhoons. Think they might look nice in some of the ADV color schemes especially those with the yellow and black tails.

I tried adding making the nose wheel of the F-4G/E-35 and strangely part of the assembly isnt rotating as it should. Anyone knowing a solution ? I agree on the flight and aircraft choice aspect althought still a long way from ATF's fun gameplay.

I wonder if its possible to have afterburner only when the nozzle is fully retracted. This problem is holding back the F-35 as well. Still nice job on the Yak..another exotic plane for the collection. May i suggest using a modified version of Marc's Su-27 pit or you could even go what-if since the 41 was never made operational service.

Works fine this time although i had to backup some of my files as it did change the soundlist.ini among others.

I said [you are getting a godly machine. u]comparable[/u], not equal. Which MiG-21 FM are you using ? Try the modified MF or F-13 (w/ cockpit) because the default thirdwire FM isnt very realistic.

I wouldn’t run around the boards questioning whether the FM is realistic. You have to remember the F-5E’s performance is broadly comparable with a MiG-21. It is also abit underpowered so don’t expect it to do an F-16.

If you talking about Amraams, you need to achieve a radar lockon before you can launch emm...unlike F4 where you can maddog the Amraam.

Better to wait and get a superior result. These things take time.

Hope we'll see a better MiG-17 with proper cockpit and FM someday. That bird deserves some love :(

Anyone noticed the animated spinning barrels when the Gsh-6-30 gatgun is fired ? Definitely one of the coolest things i seen in a flight sim. good.gif Only serious bug i can think of is the decal bleed on the nose and right wing. BTW how does one deploy the drag chute ?

Yea..i had weird feelings after watching the OAV. Some of the futuristic planes look cool but the storyline and characters are so strange.

Would be nice if we have enough modders to give all d planes equal treatment. X-29 based on F-5A with F-16 main gear and F-18 engine.

You should really check the list in this link http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=16806 Someone was doing an AV-8B, thats not ready yet. I believe there is a Yak-41 Freestyle in the works too. I thought the F-15E can found here in the downloads section. The rest of the planes you just need to wait or try build them urself.
