And these will be released tomorrow, Dave?
Oops, I forgot the rule.

I agree that the ODS mod is very A+.
I just like creating the single missions of flying a 2 x F-15E, F-16, or F/A-18 to destroy 1 or 2 Mitsubishi vans or gun positions. Not a lot of eye candy, but contemporary real world.

Is there any chance for a 2003 OIF campaign? Hell, we have the terrain and all of the necessary aircraft.
Just no air to air action.
But at least we have Bombcats!
-
We may never know the whole story behind this situation. Maybe she didn't want it, but her leadership pushed her to accept it. But who knows...
I know of leadership that doesn't want to give out medals.
To summarize their thoughts: 'Combat arms soldiers are supposed to get shot at/blown up in combat Why do they deserve a medal for that? That's in their duty description'.
And, as a result, hundreds of soldiers came home from this particular deployment without anything at all.
-
Congrats to you both!

Let's face the facts, my friends.
With force management (i.e. layoffs) being implemented, one should take the awards and kudos one can get.
The force management board (i.e. the guys that decide upon the layoffs) might have to choose between an E-6 that does have a BSM, and an E-6 that doesn't.
With a situation like this, take a guess as to who will get to stay around, and who will be handed the outprocessing checklist?
With the way things are now, a decision will come down to 'how high is' your physical fitness test score, or how good/not good do you look in your official photo....

There are now only 2 C-5A units in the ANG (TN and WV), and we have skins for them both.

I'm going to be giggling about this for about a week...maybe more.

Don't forget to add the 185th ARW KC-135R unit to the campaign:
http://siouxcityjournal.com/news/local/a1/article_a2e62387-3e23-5871-91ba-ff459ba72827.html
And the skin for that unit is part of my KC-135R skin packs:
http://combatace.com/files/file/12518-ang-kc-135r-skins/
http://combatace.com/files/file/12551-ang-kc-135r-skins-part-3/

That is incredibly detailed and beautiful!

ANG C-5A Skin Add-on
ANG C-5A Skin addition
1) The attached file includes 'West Virginia Air Guard' on the fuselage of the aircraft, just like the real aircraft.
2) Unfortunately, the lettering only shows up clearly when the gear are up on the aircraft due to the modeling structure of the aircraft.
Instructions:
1) Copy file to your C-5A skin directory and allow for override to update the skin.
2) Go fly!
Thanks and credit to:
- TK and Thirdwire
- Veltro2k for the original C-5A Galaxy upload
- Pappychksix for the original skin
- Epizikl for the loading screen
- Kesselbrut for the cockpit

I want the ability to determine the type of stationary/static aircraft that are on the ramp at airfields and a zoom function to place ground objects (as found in IL-2 1946).

ANG KC-135R Skins Part 3
ANG KC-135R StratoTanker Skins Part 3
Contained within this pack are skins for the following ANG units:
117th ARW - Alabama ANG. I found an online photo with a special 'Auburn' tail art on a Alabama ANG KC-135R from 2007.
126th ARW - Illinois ANG. I found a photo with updated Illinois ANG tail art on airfighters.com from 2011.
121st ARW - Ohio ANG.
Updated file for Iowa ANG:
I re-vamped the tail for this aircraft with a new font that closely resembles the actual tail on the 185th ARW's KC-135Rs.
Installation:
1) Unzip and place the Ohio ANG, Alabama ANG 2007 and Illinois ANG 2011 folders in your KC-135R main folder.
2) Add the texture sets to your KC-135R.ini file.
[TextureSetxxx]
Directory=Illinois ANG 2011
Name=126th ARW 2011
Nation=USAF
Specular=0.300000
Glossiness=1.000000
Reflection=0.100000
DecalNumberRandomize=TRUE
DecalNumberStart=0
DecalNumberEnd=16
[TextureSetxxx]
Directory=Alabama ANG 2007
Name=117th ARW 2007
Nation=USAF
Specular=0.300000
Glossiness=1.000000
Reflection=0.100000
DecalNumberRandomize=TRUE
DecalNumberStart=0
DecalNumberEnd=16
[TextureSetxxx]
Directory=Ohio ANG
Name=121st ARW
Nation=USAF
Specular=0.300000
Glossiness=1.000000
Reflection=0.100000
DecalNumberRandomize=TRUE
DecalNumberStart=0
DecalNumberEnd=16
Open the Iowa ANG tail folder contained in this pack, select the .bmp file in this folder. Open the Iowa ANG folder from the previous pack that you installed. Paste the new .bmp file in this pack in the folder from the previous pack, and allow for overwrite. This will replace the old file with the new (and better!) file.
Thanks to the following:
- TK and Thirdwire
- 'Dave' for the following:
- For the KC-135R model original release.
- The 'ANG' on the tail and the ANG emblem on all of the skins were taken from the KC-135E model.
- Due to lack of references on the tail numbers, all of the skins in this pack use the KC-135E tail numbers.
- airliners.net, airfighters.com, and af.mil for skin references
Happy Tanking!

ANG C-130H Skins
ANG C-130H Hercules Skins
Contained within this pack are skins for the following ANG units:
179th AW - Ohio ANG
133rd AW - Minnesota ANG
153rd AW - Wyoming ANG
130th AW - West Virginia ANG
143rd AW - Rhode Island ANG
166th AW - Delaware ANG
165th AW - Georgia ANG
182nd AW - Illinois ANG
136th AW - Texas ANG
176th WG - Alask ANG
Installation:
1) Unzip and place the folders in your C-130H main folder
2) Add the texture sets to your C-130H.ini file
3) Fly away!
All of the artwork is to the best of my abilities. The Wyoming ANG tail band has a cowboy decal on the actual aircraft, but I was unable to design a suitable decal on the tail, so I left it off. Also, the Rhode Island tailwork is actually on a C-130J model, but I didn't find that out until after I designed the skin, so I included it anyways. Feel free to not install if you so choose.
Thanks to the following:
- TK and Thirdwire
- 'Dave'
- Original Model by Dels, additional work by bpao (RIP Oli)
- airliners.net, airfighters.com, and af.mil for skin references
If more credit is due, please speak up!

I have the same issue with my KC-135Rs as they stall and crash just beyond the runway.
I just start them in air now.

There was something about the serenity of this pic that I just liked.

Which photo service do you guys use? I can't get my pics to be that large and detailed.
