"You know why I pulled you over?" "..." "...Littering." "Oh...officer...that's not ours." "CANDYBARS!!!" -
I have been playing around with my "Fly-able Hawks" mod, and I realized that it needs a little repair. I'm fixing what the missile does in flight but on this particular aircraft, I can't seem to go from this... to this (notice missile is at the correct rotation). I have looked on the knowledge base and it doesn't say anything about how to rotate a missile on a pylon. I'll re-release the mod once I figure out the kinks in the missile behavior and these pylons.

"It is with deep regret that we announce that the head of the site, Paulo Emanuele, was killed in a plane crash here in Santa Monica just a short while ago. From an executive at DM: " ... Dear Airliners Crew, It is with the deepest sorrow that I let know Paulo died this evening in a tragic plane crash. His plane took off out of Santa Monica Airport at 5:00 PM and lost power. Paulo attempted to return to the airport, but the plane crashed on the runway. This is all we know at this time, as I hear more I will let you all know. I know many of you were dear friends with Paulo. Paulo loved Airliners and everything it stood for. Paulo was an amazing Pilot, an amazing photographer, an amazing friend, and an amazing father. He will be deeply missed ... " Found this when I went to visit the Airliners.net website...

I have been looking for SGA DC-9's compatible with FS 2002 Pro Edition for quite some time. It seems that I have reached the point where I need a little outside help. I know the FFX/SGA DC-9's are compatible but not the new SGA DC-9 series. The Delta Airlines/ Northwest merger textures are so good looking, I need the SGA DC-9-30, -40, and -50 for them to work. No one has made those kinds of textures for the Jet City Aircraft DC-9's (which I have). Any suggestions or ideas are deeply appreciated.

I got my GMax working. Little did I know I had a copy. I was wondering how to get the DC-9 model converted to where it will work in FS 2002 Pro. Could I do that with GMax or is there something else I can download? I have tried to open the model with GMax and it fails every time.

I have finally got my Strike Fighters up and running again. Trouble is that this blue text / red text is on every object. How can I only limit this to the little box in the bottom right corner like the good ol' days?

Would changing one .LOD out for another change much behavior in what the canopy does? Not all of my MiGs have this problem. The Electric Lightning still would need work. -

"basically, disable the auto-speed canopies OR reverse the values for open/close line, OR switch to animation control keystroke" ...where can I find such things...in the individual aircraft? I know the animation keys aren't activated at all (or at least I haven't assigned any of those keys.) -

Alright...now we're in business! Except for these guys. Whats up with the canopies on certain planes? I had another MiG-21 do this... -

Fixed the "skines". And Dave's newest F-4 certainly works! And which weapon editor should I get? I just downloaded the "most recent" one and it didn't start up. -

Thanks guys. I was wonderering if I was seeing things... I have another one for ya'll. I can fix the "skines". That's a small change. Why would the simulator have no weaponry show up for any of the aircraft? Basically, give me reasons why the sim would not have any weapons show up. I know there is a weapons folder in the objects folder and there's stuff in my weapons folder, but nothing shows up when the simulator is running when I'm in the loadout screen. Any ideas? PS= If I get this solved, my sim will be running properly. -
Maybe I'm asking the wrong question. Is there a freeware program that I could go into and edit the DC-9's to visually show up in FS2002 Pro?

I recently had a data recovery done on my computer. All my pictures, MSFS 2002, WOV, WOE, and WOI stuff works. My dearest SFp1 didn't, though. Go figure the one I modded the most moked. I re-installed it, re-installed the service pack and the patch, and now the basics work. I still have all my modded planes, ground vehicles, and my weaponry, but something tells me that I could choose what year I flew in. The simulator is going off the start year of each aircraft. How do I change the years the simulator go off of or how do I choose what year I fly in?
-
I'm working on trying to get the right patches or 'service packs' downloaded. I just need that 'year selector' pull-down menu to appear. Other than that, I'm ready to go. Thank you for you all's input.

Sorry guys. I was shooting at an Egyptian Mirage. Wow...I'm dumb. I was refering to the fact that Iran wired that missile in the 1980's to be employed against the Iraqi AF. Anyway, this is the effect that missile procured about 30 seconds later. -

Actually, I meant that some iraqi is going to have a good breakfast in the fact he is going to have a Hawk (missile) 'on his plate.' I know that the Iraqi's never had F-14's. They could barely fly their own MiG-25's as it is. -

This is what an Osean Navy F-4J might have looked like 'back in the day'. I just tried my hand at decal-ing... -
