  1. I have been in touch with Sim-Wolf about their F-22 and they will be working on it again. It may be a little while as they are converting things over to FC2. That is good news. They have a great start on a very nice mod.Cheers.
  2. would it be possible that some changes have been made and are classified still. Other than that, I am with you, even with power on, they would not have to show you much information. who knows.
  3. Thanks a LOT Xray. Very useful. Now I can see the wording more closely. I could see the style of gauges before but wording was a blur for the most part. There are some great shots if you were making a 3D model of the aircraft, very detailed but the cockpit for some reason is still hard to find and if you do, too hard to see details. What you have provided will help a lot. Thanks. Pete
  4. Hmm, I guess their not going to make it easy to see good detail. I will keep looking but very hard to find. Lots of wierd angle shots and some out of focus and some like you say have the MFD's covered. That's ok there must be a pic. somewhere. You can find some of the YF-22 and if you compare the F22A their is a lot of similar things in both cockpits, so just might be able to put a reasonable look to the cockpit. Won't be 100% but very close. Pete
  5. Thanks, but don't look to close,(lol) I am no painter by any stretch so my work ahead is to clean up the textures(better paint job) and keep looking for more detailed cockpit shots. Hard to find for the F-22. Lots of photos but no nice close-ups. I still want to do something in the center and have found a couple of different shots that just might work. When I get it finished you and Xray can have it if you like. Cheers. Pete
  6. Here are a couple of cockpit shots for the F-22 for Lockon1.12b. Still a work in progress but thought I would give you a quick look. Any suggestions welcome also any detailed shots of the side down panels would be nice.
  7. No problem. If you have still got the problem after deleting and installing modman again, let me know. I am usually pretty good at finding errors.Cheers.
  8. Jack, on a slightly different topic. Did you get the SU-47 problem resolved. If not check your post here. I left you a note that may or may not help out with the problem. Cheers. sorry for the hijack.
  9. Does anyone have a contact with the 141st. would like to find info. on their F-22 sim-wolf mod. Been trying but no luck. Would appreciate anyone who can converse with them and see what plans if any they have for their F-22 beta release to the public. If none I would like to get the skin template so I can put some textures in where they left out some, in their beta version. Any help in anyway would be appreciated. Even if they would converse with me. Thank you forum members if anyone can help. cheers.

Sorry for the late response. Out of town for a few days. Soon as I get back I will get the files off to you. Thanks for helping.Cheers. I will be on the forum though. Using wife's laptop.LOL.
  11. Jack I saw your post over at eagle and was upset with the reply's from a couple of well lets skip that. I have posted a message to moderators(eagle) asking why they allow certain people to remain in the forum, for the purpose of upsetting other posters. Not quite what I said but the Moderators will understand without any difficulty. This is the spot to be and I am glad to finally be here myself. Now as to your problem. I will for the time being assume that you are running windows 7x64. If this is the case, you may not have the proper permissions set to delete from the registry. I have run into this problem myself. This may or may not be your problem but worth checking. The mod should uninstall but I have found windows 7 sometimes appears to let you but it does not in reality uninstall. Hope this may help you. cheers. Pete(rattler1)

Well most of the time you don't have to worry as most modders will use the default pilot, which you can retexture to your own liking and it will always come up as the default pilot. In lockon you have 2 files, one for the body and another for the legs. You also have the USA and RUS., pilots for the aircraft(default for both). Some modders like to give you a pilot mod as well to replicate the pilot suit from the country the plane is from. The F-22 is one of those mods. There are two versions and both have their own pilots. This is rare but it does happen. Most modders use the default pilots. Its a nice option to have and then again it can be a pain when you want your own version and there is no template, so you just do it the hard way(trial and error) till you find where textures are placed. Blaze was kind enough to send the pilot template for the Sim-Wolf mod. That was his part in the project. Never tried the SF series, always been occupied with Lockon and F4AF. I think you might like Lockon FC, they have now put out a newer version called Lockon FC2.0(fixed some outstanding issues from past release). cheers pal. P. S. Will be out of town for a few days but I will try and keep an eye on the forum. Get to use wife's laptop.:LOL.

The simple answer is no. Sim-wolf like some others made the mod files with a pilot. However I have one that you can see how to make your own skin by using the cut and paste feature of the original pilot and using the template I sent you, you can use it to texture the pilot. Very easy to do or you can be more creative and do your own textures from the start. For instance , there is a picture of the pilot suit the Raptor pilots use. Get it and cut and paste into template. Etc. If you are good with Paint Shop you can use the template to create your own. Hope this answers your question. Cheers. Pete

usafmtl and Xray Hi guy's; Would you like an F-15 cockpit more suited to the F-22? I have a work in progress and if you have the time, would appreciate some fresh eyes and input. This is a WIP and am no artist by any stretch, so this could serve two fold as someone might do a better paint job.LOL. Let me know , give me your e-mail address and I will send it to along. Xray, I know you have RL issues and hope everything is going great!! Don't expect you to reply unless you wish.Cheers.

  18. FC2

That's the way it should be!! Might have a different point of view but one can be civil about it. You don't have to drag it on either, just agree to disagree and go on to other topics. I have 30 years experience in Civil ATC and most of the time as a Supervisor of Simulation Training. If I jump into a topic, I know what I say other than that I keep my feelings to myself. Lockon, well everyone has their own take on this sim., No one is right or wrong, if truth be known.LOL

Same here my friend. It's a pleasure being here!! Should have been on the forum earlier. Enjoying!!

Thanks a lot appreciate it. I am not Mark but I am an old member just spent most of my time at Eagle. Pete Tisdall(rattler) from Newfoundland Canada. Had to use rattler1 here because Mark had rattler. It was a fun mix up for a while.LOL. I know Mark, we worked on a cockpit together. I haven't seen him around for some time. Got the landing lights working but can't find the problem with the afterburner. I am trying to reach one or all of the team that did the F-22 mod and see if they are willing to continue with it. I did get one of them a while ago and he said that it was still on their to do list. Hears hoping we can show them some interest to start again. Cheers.
  21. FC2

Xray: I have noticed in you shots that you have the runway lights and proper afterburner look. I have no lights and I have the f-15 and the f-22 afterburner cone. would it be possible to send the two .lom files and see if mine are the same as yours. If same I may have something wrong in one of my files. Thanks.
  22. FC2

Here are a couple of shots of the F-22. Pilot and some minor work on skin. WIP.
  23. FC2

Hi squid; I am not sure yet on FC2. I am waiting for the release of the hard copy. I hope it will be sometime in early July. There are a lot of people upgrading their mods for use in FC2. As it stands I don't think you can do a custom cockpit. From some of the mods that have been done, lots of things can be changed but this one I am not sure of at this time. There are a lot of different files now to get a mod to work. Maybe someone might just find out how to do a custom pit. It has always been hard code but ED has been better at letting more things being modded. I watch the Eagle forum for any info that may be found on any type of mod. Here's hoping. If I see anything, I will pass it along here at Combatace in a new thread probably. Cheers.
  24. FC2

usafmtl: That would be great. I am using the F-22 model from Sim-wolf. I believe that the 141st. group did this model. I have left a message but have not heard back. Any help in getting in contact would be appreciated. There is a little work left on the Mod. and would like to see if they would still consider doing some more work on the model. Any help from anyone here would be appreciated. This for the time being will be for FC1.1. Cheers. Rattler
  25. FC2

Don't want to hijack thread but just a quick question. Is anybody interested in the F-22. I also need some good cockpit shots if anyone has them.
