Sounds Pretty standard to me. All software has that in their EULA Agreement. You deal direct with the main developer of the software. He has a thread on the forum ( i will refrain from mentioning it as you can find it easily) to help with any problems. He is very good as I have actually talked to him in person. If you have a problem which usually is minor you work directly with him. I have had a lot of products for my computer over the years and software carries NO Warranties, you can't even return it. I could mention a few but I think that would break a rule. Have you tried it? This was my personal opinion and no more. You are quite right in what you have quoted.
