  1. Found Wings Over Europe in mass quantities at a Future Shop in Kingston and Belleville, no problem.
  2. Why such concern over the F-22A Raptor, when there is already a very solid model of the F-23A Black Widow II for WOE/WOV/SFP1. It's a much prettier plane, anyway. I share the opinion of the Northrop design team that made this bird... the YF-23 should have won the ATF competition, hands down. The aircraft met the "force multiplier" requirements set by the Air Force. I found this very cool documentary on the YF-23, and bought me a copy. Here's he link. http://www.wci-productions.com/
  3. NOW HOW DO YOU SUPPOSE THIS HAPPENED?????????

Where's the 'kaboom'?? There's suppose to be an Earth shattering 'kaboom'...
  4. I'm guessing Israeli Air Force II, only, not tied to the Jane's Information Group logo, this time.
  5. I'd really love to see and SEA Jungle Camo or Euro Camo for this bird, too, some day. That USMC paint job for the F/A-37 Talon would look nice on this bird, too.
  6. BEAUTIFUL!! I've been curious about this one. Yet another fighter that could grace the skies of the real world, in greater numbers. The hardpoints could be space out just a teeny bit (AGM-65s seem a little tightly packed on there, as it is.), but otherwise, she's a gorgeous plane. Nice piece of work.
  7. Awww, Finally!! It's about time, someone made some new skins for that Bird!! Nice work, dude!! Thanks!!
  8. System requirements and advice needed

I read the Box in the store... Legacy requires a minimum of a 2.8GHz processor. Video is debatable... most likely your GeForce card will run it. You might want to consider getting a 256 or 512MB video card.
  9. Every Maxtor I've ever owned has died a horrible death at the most inopportune times, possible. Seagate drives are awesome, they're built like Tanks, you can chuck 'em off a 100 storie building and they still work. So, you should have no troubles, now. Western Digital is the Ferrari of Hard Drives, though. I usually buy WD
  10. I would have to agree, the 9Bs do hit fairly consistently, within 0.6 to 1.5 nm of the target, flying straight and level, so, ultimately it just takes patience while you keep the target in front of you and wait out the AI, until the target thinks he has lost you, or decides to bug out and head for home.
  11. Anime

I've been collecting Anime since 1990. I have several thousand hours of it on VHS & DVD. I've always been the Mobile Suit Gundam fan... the original "Universal Century" stories. Macross, of course. There is a fairly new OVA series out called "Fairy Air Force: Yukikaze"... in spite of it's title, this is an awesome Anime that has some really amazing Fighter aircraft designs. ...anyone remember Outlanders? hehehe.
  12. Gaming computer prices

Agreed... buying the parts, separately and building the system yourself is much more cost effective, plus, you have the option of swapping useful parts from your older sytem into the new one, though it is less likely these days with the advent of SATA, PCI-E and about 50 different forms of RAM. What ever happened to the concept of "universal compatibility".
  13. *touching my fingertips together* - in the voice of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons - "Excellent"...
  14. Subarashii, ne... sugoii yo... Hajimemas**te Nagase-san. Watashi wa Brian "MiG Hound" Smith Desu, Dozo yoroshiku... Looking over your F-15J / DJ mod, No. 35 dated July 2001. I'm really looking forward to the release of these. Your work is excellent. This reminds me of an article I was reading in "J-Wings" magazine, and I'd like to suggest you create the skins for the JASDF F-15DJ Aggressor squadron. I really love these camo jobs for these planes, they really bring some character to the F-15. There are nine different variations... I'm not suggesting you make them all. Here are examples of what I'm talking about. Gambaremasu yo... Matta ne...
  15. Awesomeness... thanks.
  16. Just out of curiosity, apart from getting the one model to work, can anyone tell me, what these settings do? I can't visually detect any differences, the game looks pretty much the same.
  17. Ummm... yeah... I got it working with the alterations to the Flightengine.ini, with no dire consequences, that I can see, but I see what the guy meant by a lot of unresolved bugs. The most notable were there Sidewinder stations did not appear unless you had fuel tanks selected, otherwise your AIM-9s would just be floating out there in open space. The shape of the thing is... pretty close, but not perfect. No insult to Florian, but the GR Mk. 1, IDS & ECR models based on ArmourDave's designs that USAFMTL released are far more accurate, and they're beautiful. nudge nudge, wink wink, know what I mean, know what I mean... hint hint hint...
  18. Nevermind... I found it...
  19. What do I need to extract this file from the .CAT? Thanks. I've been dying to get this F.3 model to work, for ages, and haven't been able too. At this point, I'm willing to try anything. I have all the others, I just need this model to have all of the available Tornado variants.
  20. Ummm... yeah, Capun... Forgive me, if I may seem blind, but looking over the pages of your site, it isn't too evident as to how we're suppose to e-mail you, to gain access. Other than the paypal link, there is nothing slese that would suggest how to contact you. Should we drop you a line through CombatAce or what should we do? I hope you accept E-Cheques via paypal for donations. Those OV-1D and S-2 models are beautiful. Awesome work. Thanks... MiG Hound.
  21. Other Flight Sim Sites

I remember the good ole days, with Jane's Combat.net I use to play the snot outta Fighters Anthology, F-15, FA-18 & USAF on that server, nonstop.
  22. Other Flight Sim Sites

    http://www.thirdwire.com/ ...of course. http://marcfighters.combatace.com/ http://www.checksix-fr.com/ http://www.column5.us/index.htm ...and just about any other site related to SF/WOV/WOE http://www.lead-pursuit.com/ http://www.graphsim.com/ http://www.lo-mac.com/ http://www.x-plane.com/ http://www.avsim.com/ http://www.simhq.com/ http://www.combatsim.com/ http://www.frugalsworld.com/modules/news/ I think that's all of them.... yeah, I'm a little obsessed. Got my head up in the clouds.

  24. I've recently acquired a new ATI Radeon X1650 Video Card to replace and old Radeon 9250 and have been able to enjoy Wings Over Europe at 1024x768 32bit resolution, with all the details set on high. So... Pretty... However, I finally got around to piloting the F/A-18A and the CF-188 available at "Check Six's" website, and once in the cockpit, the HUD's pitch ladder is just the solid white mass in the centre of the HUD, and it seems to chew up memory resources, so whenever I'm facing forward, the frame rate really chugs. If I slew the view else where, it's fine. So, upon exiting the game I looked into the cockpit directories of these planes, trying to identify the problem by looking into ini files and so on. Ultimately, I identified the F-18_pitch.tga file and noted it was set at a staggering 400x3805 pixel resolution. I resized the image to 213x2024, and the problem was resolved, the pitch ladder appears to work normally in both aircraft, now. I realized, 2048 is the double of 1024... the 2024 solution was a typo when I renamed the files. However, knowing the problem is solved, I'm not about to go in and change it again, to be picky. Yet, I did set the resolution to 1024, at one point and it didn't solve the problem, I still had a white mass in the centre of the HUD, yet it didn't chug, so much. So, the way I see it... "3805 too big... 1024 too small... 2024 just right" Anyway, hope this is useful to those who may encounter this issue. It worked for me. The F-18s are the only aircraft I've noted this issue thus far, and I have over 175 aircraft installed.
