  1. Okay, I did some more testing. It seems that either something is messed up in the program itself, or I'm missing something, but it appears what I was seeing was the "Incliment" weather setting, which oddly ran through the first 2 campaign missions and first single mission I flew on the Iraq/Iran 2003 terrain. When I loaded up a single mission today, I got nice clear skies on the terrain. Maybe it was just a fluke that all 3 missions in a row had inclement weather, I don't know, but it seems to be "fixed" for now. I just know I really don't like that weather setting because you can't see crap. :) Anyway, on to find out if I can find a fix for why my GBU-39's and GBU-40's won't utilize the BRU-61/A on any aircraft in the game.
  2. I don't think it's the weather though. I've never seen weather in Strike Fighters that makes it nearly impossible to see above about 100 feet, nor is it affecting any of the other terrains installed. It's specific to the Iran Terrain.
  3. Flying both Single Missions and Campaign on the terrain. Merged SF2:I with Expansion packs updated to Nov 2011.
  4. I've downloaded and installed this mod and all flights have this nasty haze and full overcast. Have I done something wrong?
  5. Hey Kevin, you reference the "compiled RWR tweak/expansion" by drmtdragon. I've looked all over for it, but can't find any reference on CombatACE or the internet to such a package. Can you give me a point in the right direction?
  6. Minor correction, they are Convair 580s. The 540 was an aborted modification only taken up by a very few people that converted a Convair 340 or 440 to a 540 by hanging a pair of Napier Eland turboprops on the aircraft. The only aircraft built were those for the Royal Canadian Air Force as the Comopolitan I. They only lasted a few years before being modified with the more successful Allison 501D turboprop (civilian version of the Allison T56 on the C-130 Hercules & P-3 Orion and also used on the L188 Electra) to make the Convair 580. The only other turboprop models were the Convair converted Convair 600 (converted from a Convair 240) and the Convair 640 (converted from a Convair 340 or 440) that put a pair of Rolls Royce Dart turboprops on the aircraft. This conversion was somewhat successful, but was not nearly as capable as the Convair 580 conversion. The current Conair CV-580 Firebombers are some of the most capable turboprop tankers in the world right now as they can carry more retardant than the CL-415 and are able to make it into locations much tighter than can the Electras.
