  1. That reminds me that I have an unfinished MiG-23MLD 3D cockpit, which unfortunately I don't plan to finish due to the lack of support for the avionics Oh well, you can't have it all :whistling:
  2. Yes, a real chopper !! The only problem that I have is being an easy prey for targets with guns lol Oh, and I didn't do any avionics, unless that by avionics you mean instruments
  3. These are my pylons in data.ini [LeftWingStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=1 StationGroupID=1 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-0.844,0.709,-0.726 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=800.0 AllowedWeaponClass=FT,BOMB AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName=PylonL PylonMass=40.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 FuelTankName=TANK450_F84G [RightWingStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=2 StationGroupID=1 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=0.844,0.709,-0.726 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=800.0 AllowedWeaponClass=FT,BOMB AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName=PylonR PylonMass=40.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 FuelTankName=TANK450_F84G [LeftRocketStation1] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=3 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-2.4,0.909,-0.365 AttachmentAngles=0.0,-2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName= PylonMass=0.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 [RightRocketStation1] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=4 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=2.4,0.909,-0.365 AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName= PylonMass=0.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 [LeftRocketStation2] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=5 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-2.375,0.709,-0.245 AttachmentAngles=0.0,-2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName=PylonL PylonMass=40.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 [RightRocketStation2] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=6 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=2.375,0.709,-0.245 AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName=PylonR PylonMass=40.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 [LeftRocketStation3] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=7 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-2.725,0.909,-0.325 AttachmentAngles=0.0,-2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName= PylonMass=0.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 [RightRocketStation3] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=8 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=2.725,0.909,-0.325 AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName= PylonMass=0.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 [LeftRocketStation4] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=9 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-2.7,0.709,-0.205 AttachmentAngles=0.0,-2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName=PylonL PylonMass=40.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 [RightRocketStation4] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=10 StationGroupID=2 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=2.7,0.709,-0.205 AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.5,0.0 LoadLimit=130.0 AllowedWeaponClass=RCKT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF ModelNodeName=PylonR PylonMass=40.0 PylonDragArea=0.03 And in loadout.ini [Attack] Loadout[01].WeaponType=Mk81 Loadout[01].Quantity=1 Loadout[02].WeaponType=Mk81 Loadout[02].Quantity=1 Loadout[03].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[03].Quantity=1 Loadout[04].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[04].Quantity=1 Loadout[05].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[05].Quantity=1 Loadout[06].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[06].Quantity=1 Loadout[07].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[07].Quantity=1 Loadout[08].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[08].Quantity=1 Loadout[09].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[09].Quantity=1 Loadout[10].WeaponType=HVAR Loadout[10].Quantity=1 Hope it helps
  4. Here's the iron gunsight, the only crosshair the manual seems to talk about is this one I think Tazkiller is right about the crosshair being from the camera
  5. It's possible that the files you downloaded didn't contain the cockpits, you need these http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=1919 and http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=1745 and follow the guide at the link posted by kukulino
  6. Yep, it is correct , and I would get dizzy too If anyone is interested in the complete manual just let me know
  7. Now the next shows the plane taking off on the left page. The aspect of the ADI is taken at the top of the maneuver, with the plane at zero elevation and left bank, it is consistent with the claim that it appears fixed with the rest of the world And finally the gunsight and a photo of it
  8. Here you have 2 images from the manual that show the 2 sections of the ADI, with "Спуск" at the top and "Подьем" at the bottom If you don't know russian like me, then they are probably not conclusive, but at least you can compare with the one in the photos and conclude they are the same instrument. The picture that convinced me is the following, that shows the airplane climbing Having only 2 choices, the label clearly reads "Подьем" in the ADI, so it must have moved to the bottom section as I claimed Perhaps one of our russian speaking friends can translate these portions of the manual for us
  9. I believe the reason for it is pretty simple: from an engineer's point of view it's probably easier to achieve than the traditional ADI If you compare the aspect of the ball at any given attitude of the plane, the ball appears to be "fixed" to the rest of the world, if that makes sense
  10. The russian word "Подьем" in the blue section means "rise", and the russian word "Спуск" in the brown section means "descent". Besides I have the MiG-17 flight manual, so I based my affirmation on that... though I could have interpreted it wrong, it's all in russian! It also shows a gunsight that is different to the one you have, but I think it could be attributed to field variability of these russian pits The russian word "Подьем" in the blue section means "rise", and the russian word "Спуск" in the brown section means "descent". 11. Well you DO have the ADI wrong lol , even though the colors are inverted it's still supposed to move towards the blue zone if you point your nose up, and viceversa... on the "bright" side I don't think there is a way to get it right without the moddifying the 3D model, so no sweat over that :blush2:
  12. Interesting material  , I specially like the effects , will you make more? That's the idea, guns with similar ROF and caliber should use the same sound, I adjusted my sounds to their respective ROF too, but I used gun sounds freely available on the web. For mixing and editing I used Wave Pad
  13. The problem is that I'm making sounds for specific guns, not for specific aircraft, and the f-86 is not the only one to use 0.50 cals...
  14. Let's see what you think of this: http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a258/pal...rent=Guns01.flv I've made these sounds for my personal use for the release of the F-86/Mig-15 Mega pack, satisfied with the results I think I will make more sounds and probably release them in the future :whistling:
  15. Pit WIP

    "It's a Marcfighter's" sums it all
  16. RF-111G

The cockpit was made by Mike Werner... and I don't think you are allowed to post it here You should ask him, here is the url of his cockpit http://www.schmidtwerner.de/products/e_f-111_pit.html
  17. I missed this thread, sorry I'm the maker of the model, the plan is for AJ-37 and JA-37 versions, about 20K polys for each one, with their respective cockpits and weapons Don't be so excited though , the name of the picture should be indicative of the time I expect to finish it... if "2 weeks" is too much now imagine "2 months" lol I have good blueprints and photos, but documentation is not very good, if someone can point me in the right direction I'll appreciate it Greets PS: Israeli viggen?
  18. Who knows, perhaps someone has already started one
  19. That would be great, thanks I'm specially interested in MiG-23/27 photos, if you have them at your museum As for the periscope you can have it, but it would need remapping, and the canopy would need a hole (either in the texture or in the 3D model)... still want it? I don't think the gunsight box needs to be moved up, but it does look rather small compared to the rest of the cockpit, I recommend instead scaling it up a bit, perhaps 10 or 20% That would be great, thanks I'm specially interested in MiG-23/27 photos, if you have them at your museum As for the periscope you can have it, but it would need remapping, and the canopy would need a hole (either in the texture or in the 3D model)... still want it? 20. It was difficult to read anything in the images I used as reference, specially for a non-russian speaker. Thanks for the correction :scout:
  21. Awesome mod dude Thanks for the hard work!
  22. Really?, I don't remember ever getting it before
  23. Has anyone noticed that there's now a partial success rating for missions? I've just bombed a bunker, but didn't destroy it and got the partial success rating for that
