do you have realistic landings turned off? i had same problem turned it on and started blowing up when hit the ground then

am new to pacific fighters and played il-2 a few years ago. it seems i can't make the bombsight work right. i got all the keys assigned but seems like everytime i set the crosshair left or right it disapears. the manual is pretty vague for this. any help or step by step info would be a great help
