Well in the interim I've been doing some SP mud-slinging missions, and found that at least with the early models I suck at air-to-air as bad as air-to-ground. The only way I seem to get any kills in is to load gunpods to my F4B

Well as a VMF I guess we'd have to stick to planes the Marines flew.....the F-100 and F-104 were both strictly Air Force rides. I don't have Skype or ICQ; I do have TS, Ventrilo, Yahoo messenger and MSN messenger though. When would be a good time to get together on the CA TS server? Air-to Air I score pretty consistently at.....Air to Ground, that's a whole different ballgame; in the meantime I'll try some Strike and Grunt Support missions in the F-4B to hone my skills.

How shall we get together to fly online? I have both Teamspeak and Ventrillo. When I play CFS2 with the bunch in my sig below be usually use thier password locked Vent server for the host to post thier IP adress. Oh, and my favorite is the F-100; I know she's slower and has less ordinance but she's more fun to dogfight in I like the F-104 too 'cause she's so hot to trot

We have a Teamspeak server that you can access by simply clicking 'home' at the top left of this forum and then look at the very bottom of the webpage. I've been playing Combat Flight Simulator 2 on the CFS2 Flight Deck Ventrilo server http://groups.msn.com/TheCFS2FlightDeck and what we do is simply: whoever wants to host displays his IP adress in the 'comment' feature. We could do something similar w/ TS by using chat.

Well I'd love to have a go at SF1 MP, I just found the CombatACE teamspeak channel by accident at the bottom of the home page; y'all should really think about promoting it better What is the best time to check in? Also I just started playing Combat Flight Simulator 2 MP w/ The CFS2 Flight Deck http://groups.msn.com/TheCFS2FlightDeck/_whatsnew.msnw they operate by the first guy in w/ a good enough comp/IN conn. hosting the game and posting his IP. There's a good chance of catching me there at night 2400-0200 GMT. My call sign there is 'ValKilmore' for some reason the MSN groups daemon wouldn't allow my usual 'Killer B' callsign.

I've had SFP1 for quite a while, but just started playing it again after stumbling onto some patches from the mfg. which fixed a number of 'bugs' in the original disk (the one I have actually says it's a pre-release in the readme file). The box and the manual both say that it can be played on-line through Gamespy. I have downloaded Gamespy and it recognizes the game- but I can never seem to find anyone on-line. Is there a link to find ppl to fly w/ and against? I love the sp but I would sure like to go up against a more challenging opponent then just AIs. Also, is SFP1 compatble w/ WoE/WoV in multiplayer?

Well since nobody has responded as HAVING a squadron maybe we should start one.......How about 'The Free Mexican Air Force'?
