    Good evening. So far so good. Everything done. Please make a last BIG check on FM and MODEL. N24 with 3 LODs, damage nodes and textures. Ailerons shorted, thanx to v.Deutschmark, he gave me idea to make an N24 (non bis) with two Vickers. What do you think about it? Skin makers, who got the LINK, please download template again, there are some changes, and damage textures added. Cockpit comes soon. Tex, about FM, i started on the ground with hard FM, i am in the air, the N24 seems to response to the rudder very bad...ist ok so? Thanx for help and advises. EmlD N24.rar

    Hi, i know N24 3d model should be done already...but my computer died a week ago...motherboard burned out... I bought a new one, payed for it, its still not shipped, promised to arrive tomorrow here... So the production stocks coz of PC damage :) I try to apply all textures on this weekend.... if motherboard comes tomorrow....:) EmlD

    Hi Monty, N17 looks very good... and you are a great texture creator! It looks really professional. RVH, i am sure now, we have spoken about differences between N24 and N24bis....we had spoken not about ailerons but about RUDDER. The big rounded rudder as N28 had the N24. And the N17 name came by comparing the N24bis rudder with N17's....I am also sure, that my English brought to this misunderstanding with ailerons (rounded up and ...... ) EmlD

    Oh...N24 disappears...sorry, forgot to edit the N24.ini....please here the solution: [LOD001] Filename=N24.lod Distance=120 ---------------> 2000 or higher.... You noticed...the wing texture is for Rigt and for Left the same file....becouse the skin i was makin, had no differences between the R and L ....but for skin makers, i will make 2 files for 2 sides.... ....and the Elevator skinning i will move to another texture file.....It is by Nose now, though it reflects like a metal nose...i will fix it. ...Now ailerons textures are to find in the upper left corner of the Nose texture --------> if you searched for that :) EmlD EDIT: the aiming solution (crossed wires) .... it mismatches the point direction, where the bullets fly to....it is cosed by the MG placement.... and i like it more...the cross-point do not hide the enemies plane... so i hope you will get easily accustomed with it.... it makes fun...

    N24 for tests! Couldn't apply all textures...no time....sorry. I and TexMurphy will thank you for tests and advises.. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Tex about FM: "Still way to powerfull and stall not adjusted but fun to fly.... ---------------> EmlD: (i adjusted the [FlightControl] section) what I need to do is to increase some of the drag and decrease the prop efficiency to slow it down and to reduce the climb rate... its still about a min to fast up to 2000meters... No damage nodes yet lol FM: [FlightControl] DONE [AircraftData] (with inertia Rx=0.396 Ry=0.387 Rz=0.548) DONE Aero Coefficients not edited (left as by Spad) [Engine] DONE [Guns] DONE You are free to post screennshots!! I could not do the compleate testing of the plane on my PC , coz of VideoCard problems (3d mode died)=> See no fire, no pilot, no cocklpit details, no sky and no ground..     Thanx for help Capun! I have another question: On SE5a, there are animated wires by mooving the ailerons...(connection wires from Stick to Aileron) How do i do such anomation? Are they linked to the control surfaces and when the game rotates Ailerons, the wires are moowing too...but how can i link a wire to a sorface...it wont be rotating along ist pivot, it will be mooved by rotating of the parent.... By N28, the control wires are hidden in the wing, but by N24 there are thouse things in upper wings above the pilot, that have to rotate, when i controll the ailerons... So maybe i have to do a new animation for Ailerons with thouse wires togather...what are the solution? Thanx, EmlD

    Thats fantastic news TexMurphy! MaxControlSpeed, LockOutSpeed are very useful variables! Looking forward for an perfect FM . I thank you for starting the new N24 WIP topic. In the evening i will post the first 3d WIP screenshot! I have some books, i will make an archive for you, with N24 articles. Mr. v. Deutchmark is working on skin for N28, i hope we can include it into the release. What would you say, v.Deutschmark? EmlD

    Hi, seems the last FM edition is that what we needed... If there are no additional questions or propositions on FM or 3D model, i will upload the Nieuport 28 C.1 to CombatACE. The original cockpit and, maybe, the demage fabric for upper wings solution will be uploaded later as a PATCH. Grateful EmlD.
