I edited the FM data.ini from SPAD.... when i extracted it from objects.cat the geame was set to hard... FM for N28 dismatches the SPADs FM in: 1. [FlightControl] 2. [AircraftData] including EmptyInertia 3. [Engine] including SLPowerDry And i have a quastion to you mates... comes still the light (fier) from the gun barrels out? I am afraid, i used the fire animation IDs (GunFireAnimationID=7,8) for MG mooving animation... or is the fire animation produced in other way? Thanx!

I thank you people too! I hope you will keep in touch till we get this bird compleate (maybe longer lol) So, my wife had a Birthday today (with party etc.) but i found few minutes to solve some questions HWG Additions (thanx to your testings and advices) 1. Pilot position edited z: from 0.16 to 0.6 (please check) 2. Static Prop added (Slow and fast nodes are in production - how get i TGA transparent, maybe cutting on Alfa layer?) 3. Static prop texture done 4. Ailerons reverced 5. MGs shooting animation DONE (Used GunFireAnimationID 7 and 8...is fire still here...can't see because of Geforce problem lol) 6. Gear struts edited N.28.rar updated.... Tailspun, if you edited the FM for N28 and it got more manouverability (N28 was better then SPAS in manouver)...you can send me the data.... But please explane, how do i udjust the climbrate (SPAD13=460 m/min to N28=500 m/min) and the manouverability. Wish you blue skies and never jumming MGs lol

Thanx for advices Tailspin and Capun! I had the exporter Help file, but maybe i missed (overead) the controller thingie lol I am not sure what you mean with pre-patch...sorry...maybe you mean if i applied patch befor i start to edit the FM...then i say no i did not :)

Yes, good idea bout template, but only to the Nose are mapping coordinates applied.... other parts mapping will come soon Then i will add the template to the pack. How do you think? I read this : http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bb...;f=165;t=000343 And meybe we should let the N28 without aiming dot to make you feel like pilots and not like God? I agree with Gottedammerung about the reality of FE....

Hi! Yep... i had a idea to animate MGs too (like SPADs MGs), i tried it to do within 10 first frames, but what is the further procedure? Pleas help :) EmlD

Good question! I think, becouse of additional tank of 45 liters in the right side in the nose...to compence its waight....but may be not lol

Yeah! The formula wonts gross waight W, but where do i take the SPADs gross waight from? 1. There is no gross W for SPAD in data ini.... 2. If i use W from book or Wikipedia...for getting the constant Rx,y,z, it could be not the same W value, that TridW used by calculating the EmptyInertia for SPAD... and doing this mistake i getting wrong CONSTANT Rx,y,z for biplanes in FE for further calculations of EInertias Sorry, i hope you understand this one :) (am not very good english speaker) Thanx

But, i did it becouse of better understanding of my question, i deleted just this: Inertia (X Direction) Ix= (W/g)*(Rx*b/2)^2 between @question@ and the line about @W=gross takeoff weight (lb)@ .... to help you and others to understand my question!... But, anyway, well done

Yep, i did it, here are the constants: (counted from SPAD data) Rx=0.396, Ry=0.387, Rz=0.548.... I am shure Capun did smth in that way and i asked, if he and other mates dot the same o equal values? ...

Thanx Tailspin, it helped me yesterday to reduce the plane rotation speed....but with udjusting of the Y valu of CG....my problem were solwed.

Thanx Capun, it helped... i just mooved the Y to -0.20 :) and perfect! Yesterday i recalculated the EmptyInertia for Nieuport28 First i had to find out the right Rx,y,z values for biplanes... There in "StrikeFightersEditingInfo" doc, where values are Light Twin .373 .269 .461 (Light Twin = Biplane in FE?????) or have i to add this to get values for biplane? Single Low Wing .248 .338 .393 Single High Wing .242 .397 .393 I equalized the EmptyInertia from SPAD13 to get Rx,y,z value for biplanes: FE_SPAD .396 .387 .548 And what is yours? Is it used for all biplanes? But one question i have still, W=gross takeoff weight (lb) ---> why takeoff???? there in data.ini is used only Empty mass value? Thanx!

Yes, i messed it in 3ds, plane stands properly (on 3 point) but the plane is rotating very slowly...so maybe after 20 sec it touches the ground with its nose :)

Hallo! Can anyone tell me, why does my N.28 rotates around his wheel rotatation axe, ant toches the ground with the nose at the end. It happends when it stands on the airfield with power 0? EmlD

Mates, i tested LOD file made by me with only one level of detail (edited spad ini) and i think my Geforce is dead!! Cant run 3d applications now (black screen), FE only the plane model to see - no terrain, no sky...even 3dsMax runs only with SOFTWARE (no OpenGL, no DirectX).....and DXDIAG tests are funny! Direct3d 8 and 9 tests are ok, but Direct3d 7 -- box is red without logo and has black points.....i am dieing!!!

Hallo! I am on my way to bring other bird to her flight...model is ready, i linked it and exported...I named all objects as in Spad data ini, so i tried to replase the Spad LOD file with one i exported....but there is no Plane while flying, only GunFire lol what do i am doing wrong? Poly count 4800. Maybe i cant see anything, becouse of no texture on it yet?
