NP, i was wondering, after you changed the empty mass from 533 to 475 and area wasn't changed....so i am an m0r0n, i noticed that and forgot about the Empty mass; But now i will update with mass 533, and area leave 20m2. And i wasn't sure, if there are 2 planes or internet posts with falce (mistaken) data.. EDIT: updated

If the lowering of the lift won't influe normal flight and fight characteristics... why not.. With actual settings, the monoplane, soon or far, will go down either EmlD

I can replace the prop cone with another one with more polygones...it should help.....but will it help? Wires, that you show, are linked to Middle parts of lower wings, so if you lose this part, they wil got detouched. I try to add the same "detouchNode wire" line to upper wings...hope it helpes! New hangar screen added. Thank you!

Thanx capun, you gave me idea to edit stock TGA and don't to crate a new one... Check the "new" cockpit glass...ask if propositions.. Fixed the "no wings problem" on the shadow...tell me, is it fixed? (i see no shadow at all) And how is the new FM from Tex? The end is near! EDIT: here little N28 rendered..

Hi! Nice doing... now: Firs of all, i don't see as much as you... 3d engine of my GeforceFX is dead, i bought an Radeon on 3rd january, but it is not shipped yet (ebay ) Propeller question... i didn't spote anything you have described. Do you see it on Static, Slow or on Fast prop node? Front glass... can you post a screenshot of the glass, like you want to have on N28 (i have no A-Team planes yet) There is no glass now (just a hole ), but i gonna rework the whole front frame and add a glass to it... One thing i know for sure, glass and frame have to be 2 separate meshes because of glass transparency... So i will apply a shader with transparent TGA (maybe the one from fast prop?...) to glass polygons and a Standart shader to the frame.........soon :yes: Thank you all! EDIT: Please check new shadow, does it have wings? I am glad about the solwed FPS problem!

TexMurphy, please download the last update of N28_data.ini befor you will fix errors, i have made some changes...(23.=>) ... 19.Made 4th LOD with only 881 polys. 20.Exported 4th LOD as shadow too -------------->(Thanx to TexMurphy and Red Von Hammer posts) 21.Edited LOD loading distance in N28.ini (100, 250, 500, 6000) 22.Compleate damage nodes ----------------------------->(hope you like it...or offer your changes) 23. Edited Vtail section in data.ini (detach vs remove...) coming soon 1. Damage textures as "..._holes.tga"???------------------> (just dont know how to. What is the procedure? Where i have them to apply?) 2. TexMurphy will fix some errors, he found in data.ini Thanx!

Hallo everybody! Today......just updated the N28.rar ..... 14.Added third level of detail with UVW coordinates 15.Reduced polygon count from 4227 to 4108 (TexMurphy rported a ...HUUUUGE FPS DROP when you get close to it...) :) Hope it helpes. 16.Edited FM, reduced rudder effect, inputs calmed down, increased the drag from use of inputs (Thank you TexMurphy) 17.Additional corrections in mapping and polly-count on nose, engine, ailerons and elevators (Thanx to Firecage). 18.Reduced polys to 3892 in LOD, 2064 in LOD2, 1513 in LOD3. coming soon 1. Damage nodes with textures Thanx you all, you do a great job!, and you give me a huge motivation!

There is one problem with last FM...when i start on runway, the plane goes to the left side.. and extreamely...like i do use the ruder hard left.....and in the sky the same... I calibrated my joy, it didnt help... anyone feels the same left side drag?

News! N28.rar updated with additions: 10. Edited FM to N28 native one, need your opinion about it. (Edited with several SE5a Aero Coefficients, i like it!) => thanx Tailspin! 11.Reworked the [FlightControl] section. Nice flight!

There is one thing. There are two nieuports 1. Nieuport 28, Wing area 16qm, empty mass 435 kg 2. Nieuport 28 C.1 Wing area 20qm, empty mass 533 kg am i right? I saw different datas around in internet.... as here, here and here If it is right, number 2 is the one we are working on lol

OK, i strted to dig me in the finetuning of the FM. Do this values declare or influe the Climb Rate? CLa Lift coefficient due to AOA CD0 Zero-lift drag coefficient CDL Drag coefficient due to lift (induced drag effect) CL0 Lift coefficient at zero angle of attack (AOA) Let us speak about CR This values i have found: N28 = 500 or 370 m/min SPADXIII = 460 m/min S.E.5a = 235 m/min Fokker Dr.1 = 220 m/min But i am not sure about them (most of all about N28 and SPAD) Which climb rates did you know about? Maybe are thease rate unrelevant in this game? so why: on [Top Wing Left] for example ******* Spad ** S.E.5a ** Fokker DVII CLa= ** 0.3098 ** 0.1117 ** 0.1320 CD0= ** 0.0017 ** 0.0009 ** 0.0014 CDL= ** 0.0008 ** 0.0003 ** 0.0006 CL0= ****** ** - ** - ** 0.0023 Any ideas....INI tweaking gurus?
