By the way Corsaire.. if you're an FSX fan, you will know about the DX10 Preview...can cause a few problems with missing/Blacked out textures etc. Well I'm running my FSX in DX10...with no problems, thanks to http://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.com/category/dx10/ You do have to pay..but it's not much..and worth a look

Hahahahahaha So, will the final release be payware? I'd happily pay for this...bloody good fun! I love having so much choice in WW1 Sims...OFF for it's campaign, RoF for..well...eye candy I spose (but the MP doesn't work well for me...I can rarely join a server, and when I have, it's too full of fanbois for my liking...But I think Canvas Wings, MP will be freakin' good fun! :)

Absolutely!...it has some very cool features...the flyby view is great!... could make some fab movies using that!...The aircraft look good as well...will be a blast when a few servers go up (thought I saw your name in the credits Lou) you kept that quite you bugger! :)

Downloaded and Installed. Went for a quick spin in the Camel...really nice and smooth. Damage modelling and sound, excellent. I can imagine having a real blast online with this. Obviously, it needs a bit of polish...and I found the 'loading Textures' midflight a bit of a pain...but all in all, fabulous fun..a Keeper! Thanks Deutschmark!!!

This is one of my favorite photos of all time. The man's name was Horace Greasley. He was a British POW famous for escaping over 200 times to visit his girlfriend, a local Jewish girl. Why did he keep going back? Loyalty. He returned every time with extra food or other contraband to share with his fellow captives. Greasley spent 5 years as a prisoner of war, during which time he served as camp barber and worked in the marble quarries. Following capture, the men were forced to march for ten weeks from France to Poland. The men suffered deplorable conditions and spent a winter, in temperatures as low as -40C, lodged in an old horse stable. Those who survived the march and train transfer were beaten, tortured, and starved. Greasley was once beaten so badly he lay unconscious for 2 days. In 2008, his biography, "Do the Birds Still Sing in Hell?" was published. Two years after its release, he died at age 91. When I see this photo, I always admire the defiance in his face. He refused to be broken. Be that guy. Oh and by the way, the German officer he's staring down is Heinrich Himmler.
