I have began putting victory icons on my aircraft now, like they did in WW2.... a quick open up in Photoshop, and a maltese cross is added to my aircraft, or indeed an RFC roundal after a confirmed victory is reported. Nice to admire my lack of achievement in the air..though my new Albatross has 3 roundals on it..so it's creeping up. After no5 victory, I shall put a larger icon to represent five kills confirmed (If I live that long of course)

haha...Well, this aircraft is certainly 'exposed' for all to see! Wonder what the fate of the crew was?...Wouldn't wish that on anyone (regardless of their own Stupidity)

Might as well Olham..it only takes a minute..and is a great record of past glories! You can also use a 'Bomb' motive for successful ground operations..or a Balloon!

Hi Gang, I am playing around with the extract tool in CS2 (as you do) and am having this rather odd problem (well, odd to me as I don't know wtf I am doing!) I went around this Camel quite carefully...but this is what happens when i have finished....especially noticeable is the wing stripes. Is this to do with the properties of a screenshot as opposed to a photo?...or indeed, the model itself?...or am i missing something? I just wanted to put this camel into a photo. Thanks for any advice on what to do.

Hi Lou I use the Extract command in CS2...you then get a kinda 'Marker Pen' which you can use to trace around the object..which allows you to remove it from it's background!...and it works fine with photos!...but screenshots seem to elude it! Thanks for replying, and hope you can suss it

That's a good idea guys.... But the amount of bullet holes I get...it will take a parachute sized piece of canvas to cover it all!!

I agree!.... My Old dad always used to kick off watching War Films, saying "Why do they have to have Bloody Love Stories in them?" He would have really liked Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan.

(IMHO) Flyboys and The Red Baron were amongst my all time worse ever movies. I managed to just about sit all the way through Flyboys..until the final Pistol shot scene.... I just switched it off at that point. As for Red Baron?..... The biggest load of old tosh I have ever witnessed in my life!!...even forgiving the appalling acting, the unreal dogfights, the historical innacuracies....and just watching purely for it's entertainment value?...Still utter tosh!

I have to join the bemusement regarding the Parasol!...I can only think that it's the RB3d throwback that's attractive about it. (same as my Snipe I suspect) I can understand the argument against late war aircraft like the Snipe, which is why I feel the need to push it at every opportunity, as I can see why the devs haven't done one as yet. If I am totally honest, I guess it's the Two Seaters which are begging for more reinforcements

Oh yes..Don't get me wrong!... I am a Geordie Docker type... Not a problem with any amount of profanity!... And now that Mr Craig pointed out via PM about disabling comments... I am happy.
