Just got into SF2...have the full works..and am patched to the final 2013 patch...thought i'd have a look at the WW2 mod..and Wrench has said it'll have a lot of issues. Has that been sorted?..I kinda assume not, as when I went to install the EAW terrain...none of the folders it mentioned existed in my SF2 installation Am I being dumb?..or is that as it should be? -

I thought this was rather nice. THE POPPY I am not a badge of honour, I am not a racist smear, I am not a fashion statement, To be worn but once a year, I am not glorification Of conflict or of war. I am not a paper ornament A token, I am more. I am a loving memory, Of a father or a son, A permanent reminder Of each and every one. I'm paper or enamel I'm old or shining new, I'm a way of saying thank you, To every one of you. I am a simple poppy A Reminder to you all, That courage faith and honour, Will stand where heroes fall. Paul Hunter 2014

Hauksbee..sadly, in the UK..the Far Right have been using the poppy (as well as our flag) for their own racist agenda's..and the Poppy has (to some) become a badge for the filthy Nazis who use it to inflame communities. So yes...the poet was saying it shouldn't be used in that manner

Hi Guys, As I have said, I've not really been playing WOFF very much, but i'm thinking of giving it another go. With FSX..I found that Nvidia Inspector really helped..and wondered if there are any profiles for WOFF?
-
I did find two that were (supposed) to be for WOFF...however, one seemed to make little or no difference..and the other made it considerably worse (on my rig) I shall keep looking...though I think Hellshade might be the man to ask?

When were victory markings first used?
UK_Widowmaker replied to JimAttrill's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Well, certainly during the Battle of Britain, it appears that you took whatever Spitfire/Hurricane was available. They certainly had their own, but not always serviceable...and I agree with Jim...there's no reason why an RAF pilot in the Battle of Britain wouldn't mark his kills..as he's unlikely to crash land in enemy territory..but I (believe) few actually did? -
Thanks Hood..yes, i've found a couple..will try them out. Hauksbee...sorry, Inspector is just an app for Nvidia cards to improve various things

German Engineering at it's best. Thank goodness for Hitler...without him, we'd all be in trouble

Well, for what it's worth..I may well have done the same as the German Flier... Humanity is inbuilt into all but psychopaths...and the sooner we learn to ignore our politicians and generals..the sooner old men will stop sending young men, to die for their warped principles -
