  5. Bucky, I think they have the same photo your referring to in the Windsock D.VII Anthology 1, there's a page wide view, and it's still tough to see, but I think Quack's got it right on the money! :good:

That book cover might solve the mystery of the J18 D.Va I uploaded yesterday, can't believe I didn't make the connection of the skull similarity of Monnington's J15 machine before the Berthold squadron exchange. Think it's safe to say the D.Va is his too? Can't say I've ever seen a photo to the D.VII either, but the D.Va is in the Windsock Dr.I special on page 22, right behind Ltn. Raben's planes.

  6. Here's some more, this time in individual downloads-

  7. Needed to take a break from all the Albatros skins for a bit! I'm hoping to do a Serial decal pack down the road for this one.

I know the camo. wing has raised a big fuss in other discussions, but out of curiosity, does any one here have a preference? I for one prefer the old solid color wing myself, probably out of habit.

I have a Jasta 6 repaint pack in the works too, just need to get the cowling markings right first.!

  14. @Quack74:

I totally agree with you!

I´m also getting angree when i have to fight against this always identical-looking planes. When the enemy squadrons would use all different skins, I would get the feeling to fight against a "more realistic Flying Circus".

For the first time it would be a nice improvement, when the skins for the AI-planes would be choosen randomly by the game. (this wouldn´t be more realistic, but better-looking)

    Greetings!

I agree with both of you! Selecting enemy skins and having random enemy skins generated would be a GREAT addition! Pick a fight with a full Squadron/Jasta, or better yet, have a surprise run-in with an ace!

  15. Cheers you guys! I've enjoyed what everyone else here has contributed to FE so much. Everyone has made so many great Planes, terrains, FM's etc. It makes me happy to know there are others out there who enjoy this era of flight as much as I do. I have plenty of free time these days, so I'll keep 'em coming. Have a lot of near completed ones that need a little tweaking. And I think I need to get some Allied ones out there too.

    Once again, thanks-

    Saltfiskur

  16. Thanks a lot! :notworthy:

I have to say that you are new big genius (which is also very fast and busy) of skinning

It will bw an honour for my to shoot down the planes wearing this skins. (but for me its very hard to fight two-seaters :hunter: , so I will prefer flying them  )

So thank you again for your hard work!

Thank you much matzeb! The best reward for skinning is having people enjoy them! I started because of everyone else's great work! Besides, I really ejoy doing the research on these planes. Have fun!
