Would fictional aircraft like the the F/A-37 Talon really fly & perform as well as it did in the movie "Stealth" if it were really built?

everyone knows that in our galaxy a parsec is a distance. But in the Correllian sector, a parsec is actually a time increment....where did you go to school? Sheesh! -
OK....if a MACK couldn't, then surely a Peterbilt could change into a giant robot with emotions and the ability to think for himself.

Since I posted this, I have been doing some research in it. From what I gather it is used for more than just a sealant. Many people put it on right after the base coat. Then decals go on top of it. The future somehow prevents the decals to "shine" and they blend in with the paint job better. I have also read about mixing talcum powder into it and creating a super duty seam filler. Interesting stuff....think I might give it a try on a practice throw away model first

never been very impressed by the Halo series. As a PC gamer who cut his teeth on Wolfenstien, Doom, Rise of the Triad, etc I might be a little jaded..... everything I saw in Halo was a feature from FPS x or FPS y. The outdoor stuff was awesome. But then once you went down into the underground bases and stuff, everything tended to look the same.

would the Millennium Falcon really be able to make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs? I say no, but my friend says it could....I don't know....12 parsecs is awefully fast. I say at least 20 parsecs, and maybe a half a parsnip too. -

I just picked up two Monogram OA-4M kits. Looking forward to building those. Trouble is, decals are hard to find for that plane. So now my "to do" list is.... Revell F-14A Tomcat Revell F/A-18E Super Hornet Revell F/A-18F Super Hornet Monogram AV-8B Harrier Academy F-14A Tomcat Hobbycraft A-4F Skyhawk Hobbycraft A-4M Skyhawk Monogram OA-4M Skyhawk x2 I am starting to build a little stash....the nice thing is, the only kit I have paid full price for is the two Super Bugs. Everything else was either trades, EBay, or "scratch and dent". I told my wife the same thing...."it is my relaxation"....she just gave me that "I don't get men" look. The way I see it, I don't bother her when she goes shoe shopping....

Feels very good. I am enjoying it very much. Very relaxing. If you are looking for a good Skyhawk, may I suggest the Hobbycraft A-4C. It is a very very nice kit with engraved panel lines, it is a little wider than it should be in the cockpit area....but it looks the part on your shelf. The nice thing is Hobbycraft includes the parts for other variants on the sprue, so even though your kit says "A-4E" on the box, you can easily build it into a F, M, H, etc...

I am just about done with my Revellogram F-14 Tomcat... This is the first model I have built in over 20 years. Still need to weather and detail, add gear and burner cans, weapons and of course...decals. She is going to be dressed up in VF-2 Bounty Hunter colors during their last cruise. Not much, but considering I haven't done a kit in 20+ years, I am pretty proud of it.

If the A-4H is like every other add on A-4, it is based on the Thirdwire Skyhawks....at which case you can find the templates in the download section here.... http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...mp;showfile=680 I know it says "A-4E", but the textures are all the same....just rename the bmps from A-4E to A-4H, etc -

R6 is still one of my fave games...and was one of my fave franchises until they console-ized it

Did somebody fart or is this a stinker?

I built a 1/32nd scale Tomcat and hung it up. It looked awesome. The line I used was strong enough...though the nail I used to anchor it was a penny nail and it actually slid out of the ceiling and the Tomcat came crashing down....onto the 1/300th scale USS Enterprise. Sad day in modeldom. Luckily, they were both the Revell big scale kits and not their much more expensive Tamiya brethren

I just discovered this stuff called "Tamiya Weathering Master". It is like a ladies eye shadow, it comes in these little cases and you rub this sponge into it and then apply it to the model....Here is a sample of it..... These are nozzles from a F/A-18E I am currently working on. The one on the left is untouched....just painted with "Steel". The one on the right has been painted in Steel, and has also been covered in "Soot" from the Weathering Master set. This took about 5 minutes to achieve this. The nice thing is, if you don't like the way it looks, it is a snap to take it off and retry. Then, when you have achieved the look you want simply lock it in with some dullcoat.

Yeah, I've done the thinner and black trick before....it does look good. The more I use this stuff, the more I love it

I finally have a place to work without having to break down my kit every night for dinner.... I set up a table in the garage, and added a space heater, worklight, mini stereo. It is just dark and dingey enough to keep the women of the house out and just cozy enough for me to work on models in peace. And...as an added bonus...the floor is concrete, so I don't have the carpet monster stealing parts!
