Servus all! Just tried to start a career in my fav Nieuport 17bis (vickers plus lewis) for the french in beginning 1917,Escadrille 68 offering it. I have both patches and HitR flawlessly working, yet i get the red message (only with french, not RNAS) stating that aircraft is not available for career yet... Any way of freeing the plane with a default skin for the french too? I need the firepower to offset bad aiming... Cheers, Zol.

BTW, There is at least 1 french ESC (forgot number for now) who flew the N11 but does not have it available (red text in campaign ESC selection) eventough the plane is flyable. Most ESC have normally N11 available, minor glitch. Maybe I may be so bold to make a little wish here. I am not sure if this post will reach the right people (Devs), but I would really like (in the next phase?) to have more planes available in the squadrons. Example: N17Bis also for frenchies and more RFC squadrons too.( apart from RNAS 6) Same for N24/N24Bis... Historically most types were used at some time by both sides, so I guess thats acceptable. Ok, off playing, CU laters:good: Zoltann.

No, we can. Take no.6 sqd RNAS in second half 1917. You will fly the n17bis then. N17B gives you the standart N17 in game. Took firing technique serious. First DF 3 kills. Second DF 5 kills (DH/5 vs. ALB D3). Getting bloodthirsty.... Yesss!!

Thanks uncleal, For the inspiring thoughts... Guess thing is to keep it as close as possible to KISS (keep it simple stupid) reaps best results. In the end, the real life "get closer and then a bit more" works probably best ingame too. Have a good day guys, Zol.

Hi gents, Been playing OFF for quite awhile now, no iisues before. After starting today, I got CTD with message: "Error updating config override settings-File does not exist-Reinstall. C:/Users/.../.../CFSWWI OFF/Configoverride.xml" Any solution apart from new install? Thanks, Zol -
Sudden OFF/CFS3 error message configoverride

Ok roger that uncleal, Indeed funny that M$ hardware and M$ software (CFS3) do not harmonise. All my other flightsims have no probs with FF, none of which is M$ (usual suspects: IL2, BoB2, Thirdwire range, ROF) No intention of moving on as OFF is a class of its own... Thanks, Zol. -

quote name='uncleal' timestamp='1286221798' post='445968'] Definately . . In WORKSHOP there's a white rectangle that states ' configuration' or 'video Settings' clic on it . . .and give it time to work, it's all auto. When it's done it'll tell you Get used to this happening, anytime you replace a video card, update drivers, run system restore. It's even been known to happen sometimes when Auto Update runs PS . . in the FFB Department . . Make sure it's ticked in workshop, and everything Except the Sidewinder II, uses a 24V power Pack, which has been known to depart without warning. Sooo if it's checked in Workshop, and the Voltmeter says 24V at the power pack. . . the joystick is fried Well Uncleal, Have an FF Sidewinder2. All ticket as u said. Aerodynamical forces at stall and with flak and firing guns there, but not sensible when steep turning ect. I think it must be an restriction of the CFS3 engine... Cheers, Zol -

Thanks BirdDogICT! Spot on, that was it... Flying again...if only the FF joystick had some default aerodynamical force instead of.... being a dead stick. No solution on that eh? Again thanks for your help, zoltann.
