How far do you want the effect to render? I can easily stretch it out to the player's horizon, but it'll most likely bring your system to it's knees.

Zur, found this...Joe Baugher, under F-100D...
That 184th Dora I'm guessing was on the floor early 57, so there was no reluctance to use NAVY missiles when there were no alternatives. Shucks the Air Force and NAVY eagerly shared jet engines.
If you need to *see* it, at Nellis super air base, 1959, there's a Dora firing off what looks like a Sidewinder at a rocket target fired seconds earlier. Pretty smooth.
Right now, I'm thinking that Falcons might have been a better close-in missile, but *only* if mated with the airplane at the factory, during manufacture (ie...designed for it) -- see Gums here, and page 2 of that thread for more Gums. Dunno.

Those ones are as they came with the OP Darius setup... didn't change a thing damn pretty to look at though...
that may be, but on my rig, the effect only stretches for about 10km, then it's nothing but solid blue...
all the way to the horizon.

There are some here at CA that will buy it because they want something shiny and new in your hanger. So are you a combat flight simmer where the nuts and bolts of the sim make difference or all you do if like to fly pretty planes and take screen shots? Well if you are the latter, get out of CA and go join AVSIM. Anyone here likes to get asshole deep in SAM's and fly combat in an F-14 in the North Atlantic doing what the F-14 was capable of doing. Then you are the ones who need to speak up and make it known to TK, that releasing a sub standard game will not be acceptable. We have been supporting him some of us for 10 years.......his fan base can sink him like a ship. That is what will happen if Pfunks questions are not answered,
