  1. again to piggy back on this, is it possible to manually set different flap settings w/o using the blowback command? I guess what I'm really asking is are we limited to two/three flap positions because of the game code, or is it something that we've just assumed?

OH YEAH, we're limited to two.

...believe me, already tried that 3-setting thing.... :dntknw:

  2. Pardon me for piggy backing on your thread, but if I wanted to limit the flap setting to a speed (to prevent overspeeding the flaps), would I adjust the DeployValue of that flap in the data.ini?

I'm working on the KC-135 from Veltro and we have 4 flap settings (5 if you count up). For Flaps 20, our speed limit is 230kts, 220kts for 30 degrees and on down to full down at 50 degrees. I'd like to add this.

    Thanks!

    ...Absolutely.

just change the Deploymethod to AUTOMATIC_MACH, and change the deployvalues of the flap to mach numbers [i.e., 0.2 for 0.2 Mach, etc.]

or use the DeployMethod=MANUAL_WITH_BLOWBACK to make the flap simply retract on their own. FYI, this setting requires you to enter Retract values, also.

  3. Hey, all.

Just thought I would address an issue i saw with the new Strike Fighters service pack.....

Everything else is fine, however comma when I fly missions, no matter how high i am.....

.....my wingmen keep crashing into the ground.

.....it's almost as if they lost their ability to sense when they are too low for vertical maneuvering..... :dntknw:

    ...SERIOUSLY.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!
