Hola, a mí me pasaba lo mismo con Vista/7. Lo resolví descargando un DLL, creo que era el d3dx9_26.dll (la verdad no me acuerdo si era este, hace mucho que no instalo el SFP1 por que tengo el SF2, pero es uno de estos DLL,d3dx9_25.dll, d3dx9_26.dll, etc. prueba con todos hasta que te funcione, hay hasta el 37) Lo pones en la carpeta donde instalaste el juego y se resuelve el problema.
