What he said. If you have first gen games (SF:Gold, WOV, WOE) then you can have C-130A, F-104G (flyable), A-6A (flyable), AV-8A (flyable) back in the game! LOD extracting and ini files fiddling is required, though. And you can have also O-1E, although it's mission profile needs changing to transport, else it won't show up since FAC missions have been disabled in 2 gen games... -

You have to add a carrier as a ground object first (place it on the water, not land ;) ). Then it should appear in the air bases drop down list (it can be named G001 for example). -

Pfunk, I think it's very kind of you. It's not like SF series has a proper coverage in media. I'm sure your reviews (which are a good read anyway), with SimHQ being a MAJOR site for all simmers, will help bring even more ppl to SF2 crowd. Better for TK, and, in the longer run, better for us! -

Hi, you don't need lods if the aircraft is a variant of a stock one (assuming the obvious, you've got the game with stock ac installed). I've been using modded stock SF2:I F-16 Netz as an F-16A in SF2:E for ages ;) . Just make sure that the aircraft's ini files contains the calls for the stock lods. And I think that you'll have to copy the stock ac textures (or any 3rd party skins created for that ac) to the modded ac folder as well, or it will default to "all black" material with no texture assigned. -

Here you can get the latest DirectX runtime library: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35 Also have you tried installing OLDER video drivers? Try ATI Catalyst 10.2 or 10.6 and see what happens. -

Hi, I think there's a key combo you can use to toggle the amount of info displayed on screen - alt+F5 or shift+F5, maybe shift+F8, sorry I don't remember it exactly... EDIT: Got it, it's ALT+D -
