  2. Thanks for sharing Dan! Now I can't wait till 2 weeks are over
  3. Dan, does this patch fix static weather in campaigns?
  4. Fellas, I've just checked EXP2 with weapon editor and all sidewinders from AIM-9G onwards do have seeker slave and seeker uncaged fields ticked (unlike -B, -D or -E models). So wasn't this functionality implemented before?
  5. And then Jag or F-5 in another pack coupled with other loser :D
  6. Wanna know why TK has quite small customer base?
  7. Stary, I think TK originally mentioned EXP3 as a "mercenary" expansion for good 'ol SF2.
  8. Understood, so perhaps it's one of this "under the hood" changes that came with EXP2 causing all this. Anyways, it's awesome that you continue to support NF4+ (life-time support comes to mind ), I however am waiting for Dec-D patch...
  9. Guys, what about the fact that EXp2 '56 campaign is labeled as No 4 like NF4+ '86 campaign? Does this has to do anything with these problems?
  10. This site seems to have good info on Soviet AF in GDR in the '80s: http://www.16va.be/sitemap.html It mostly in french but some bits are in english too. Can be useful for creating/tweaking '80s scenario for SF2:E (unless NF4+ team's already been using it for ages, lol).
  11. Yep, unless it's Large Address Aware, then it can handle some more. EDIT: Provided that Windows has been enabled to allocate more than 2 gig to 32bit apps. EDIT2: http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112556
  12. Thanks a lot! Frank, I'm halfway through updating a 1956 Warsaw Pact ORBAT for SF2:E Exp2 campaign, will release it "in 2 weeks" ;)
  13. Try decreasing LightRange= entry in F14BAfterburnerEmitter.ini
  14. Yeah, the equipment and its quantities didn't make sense when I read it, this orbat was created by some American soldier or something and seems to be very inaccurate. But on the other hand this site: http://home.snafu.de/veith/logbuch.htm Gepard, can you verify it's accuracy, pretty please?
  15. Besides one time I compared free memory available under WIn 7 32 bit and 64 bit and I had more under 64 bit! Although 64 bit windows itself was "eating" slightly more RAM than 32 bit, at least I had access to full 4GB instead of 3.2 GB like with 32 bit.
  16. Oh, I believe 4GB of RAM is enough for gaming these days. Unless you're using you're PC for 3Dmax stuff or encoding movies or crunching numbers or other "scientific" stuff....
  17. With your hardware you should see significant performance improvement under Win 7! Just make sure that you have UseAdvancedShaders=1 set in Options.ini and that detail level is set at least to HIGH to enable DX10. Also remember that mods for SF2 series are installed in a different folder than under Win XP. (usually c:\Users\Username\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFIghters2 XXXX
  18. Thank you very very much! Excellent, very thorough and easy to understand installation guide too - I highly doubt you'll get any of these "how to install this mod" questions .
  19. Thanks fellas! You don't stop to surprise us!
