Wrench, Is Colmack working on the American dreadnoughts? -
You might want to try the grid system. In other words, for practice, find a copy of a drawing, art work or photo that you like a lot, put a grid upon it and then reproduce said grid on the paper/canvas of your choice............... sizing the grid at your choosing. The old masters used the system, and it gives you some control and understanding of how things were drawn/painted. Worked quite nicely when I was studying Art at O and A level. Maurice Quentin de la Tour's pastel of Louis XV never looked so good................ kind of.

Faux Nagato/Mutsu at sea. Just a question of working up those 16" guns. -

Just surprised that the features relevant to the particular mark aren't part and parcel. Granted, I have a tendency to make faux battleships. -

If it's a FAW 9, it appears to be missing its pylon extensions. Is it flying with belly tanks? -

Is that a F(AW) Mk. 8 or a F(AW) Mk. 9? -

Geezer, The flight deck will have a proper Hermes paint scheme, catapults, blast doors, wires and some little men to give things some scale. Hopefully some of the Scimitars will make it if the poly count doesn't get too desperate. Lots more to do. -
Do you fly for your own nation?

I only fly RN FAA aircraft. I hate the RAF and the British Army Air Corps.................. -

Been busy with other stuff, so only a few details added................ -
Just been released. I was all set to buy, as it's my favourite (just) naval period, but then discovered that it has a very intrusive security/DRM system that requires an internet connection (my gaming machine is off-line). Just wondering if someone had purchased it................... and their thoughts. Hinch

Geezer, That was just an uncoordinated slap of paint to see how things might look in game. No reflection on where you placed things. The carrier looks good. -

Wrench, Iron Duke was just over 622' long: I believe a Brooklyn cruiser was some 608'. The faux IJN battleships were approx 700' long, so they might be a bit big. -

Yamashiro and Hyuga off Kure. Wrench, all that's left to do with the 'Fuso' is setting up the guns, so early next week I'll send it to you. Any need for a fake Nagato? -

So, Stiglr, what are you going to contribute? The air must be very rarefied in your neck of the woods. As Admiral Sir Leighton Arnold said to his flag captain......... 'piss off'. -

Very sad. She was an attractive woman once, but now................... I really don't understand why people (women) do this stuff. If she'd never bothered, she'd be attractive now.
