  1. Well, I guess I won't sleep this night....
  2. Don't give up! I have some some experience with computer hardware and most of the systems I've seen with the same symptoms had relatively small problems (most of them needed only cleaning the dust from PCB's to get them operationa againl!). I guess it's the power supply and if it is standart ATX PSU - they haven't changed much for the last 10 years and aren't expensive. I hope you get back "in the air" soon!
  3. You are killing my enthusiasm!
  4. Does this mean I can make a repaint of your Tornado cockpit?
  5. huh, when I saw the topic title, I thought you were talking for this bird:
  6. Hi Typhoid, I've tried loading my mod over this and didn't find anything strange. There shouldn't be any problems, as long as you put my files on top of the older files, replacing them. Can you tell me what the exact problem is, so I can fix it? Speaking of MFD's, I am trying to recreate F-14D pit from current F-14A cockpit, using .ini movies... not much success for now
  7. File Name: F-14A Cockpit Upgrade File Submitter: The Trooper File Submitted: 28 Feb 2008 File Updated: 28 Feb 2008 File Category: Jet Cockpits File Version: 1.00 Website: No Information F-14A Cockpit Upgrade v.1.0 --------------------------- This is a repaint of Mirage Factory's F-14 cockpit, I've made in attempt to give it more reallistic appearance. I've also rearranged some of the lights on the ACM panel, using .ini moves. Credits: --------------------------- Original cockpit model by The Mirage Factory Avionics by Crusader modified by JSF_Aggie Thanks to Caesar for beta testing and helping me with some info on the real Tomcat pit. Let me know, if I've missed someone... Installation: --------------------------- Extract it in your F-14A folder overwriting all files. In your F-14A.ini change the following line: "AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll" to "AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll". There is no .lod file included, so you still need the original model! 8. In your F-14A.ini change: "AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll" to "AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll". I've updated the readme.
  9. I've made made a repaint of the F-14A cockpit and some tweaks using .ini moves(more info here). I need permission to upload it. I'm going to upload only textures and F-14A_cockpit.ini, no lods. Of course I'll give you a credit as the original creator of the pit. Thanks in advance!

  11. It is finished and I'm waiting for permission. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...mp;#entry137097 Sorry for making you wait, guys!
  12. X RAY, I was planning to make some red pilot skins(ZSh-3, ZSh-7), after I finish my Tomcat pit repaint, so you can count me in. I am pretty adept in Photoshop and I know "something" about soviet/russian flightgear
  13. Maybe because it is using some stock textures, which aren't present in WOI install. Drop me a PM with contact info and i'll send you my WIP f-14 pit textures to try.
  14. Wow, so many fans of the Irons! Actually, Iron Maiden are pretty tied into the aviation, I think. Remember songs like "Aces High", "Flight of Icarus" or "Tailgunner"... or Bruce's "hobby" : @starfighter2 - I was too busy with RL stuff this week, so I didn't work much on the pit. Hopefully I'll finish it this weekend, but I don't want to promise anything.
  15. Crusader is right. I don't know about the F-14D, but mine definitelly works with avionics70 and WOV patched to v30.08.06.
  16. Thanks for the comments guys Raddar screen and HUD are by MoonJumper. They are from JSF_Aggie's Harrier campaign. The only thing I did was repainting some of the cockpit textures and some .ini moves. There is still more work to be done, though.
