Su-35BM Beta
X RAY replied to Erwin_Hans's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
Maybe I've discovered the reason! Normally the 3D mesh for the formation lights or slimers calls out for a .tga file,in this case it calls .bmp (without transparency) from the BM1.bmp skin the pale yellow square! -

EF-4C problems in SF-2V
X RAY posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Hi,slowly i'm modding my Sf-2V install, with the latest great mods around here it's a sin don't move in! The plane that now I want put into Nam battle is the EF-4C included in the new expansion pack. In 06 install or YAP,it goes great, everything is in place In Sf-2V the ER-142 system don't fit with the plane nose,or better it fits right under the inner pylons but the 4 nose antennas stays 2 into the nose (lower antennas) and the remaining 2 above. First thing I've tried to do was low 'em down to fit the nose (via data ini) and NOW THEY'RE IN PLACE,but now the other on the pylons are below them or better below the Shrikes fitted on the pylons! Imagine that is a problem related with the new rescaled sf-2 f-4. Ok,than I've tried with the OLD one, with all the .lods extracted form the old objectdata.cat but problem remains! any suggestion? -
EF-4C problems in SF-2V
X RAY replied to X RAY's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Well..... thanks for the kind replies gentlemens!!!! But my little brain has spotted the flaw! The EF-4C that i'm talking is the one that Eburger & team provide in the new expansions pack (mix between Mppd F-4C and new SF-2 F-4C) The problem was the ER-142 in itself,in the older version was a GP now is an EP and this causes the mess! What I've done is using the old one (GP) with some little adjustments and the new one (EP) as an internal ECM with the same specs. Also I've modified (add a new one) MER to let it allows 5 CBU's in symmetrical position, add pilots from my package and the MB-Mk7 from the F-4ICE,make a missing tail no's for the "supercocks" one ..than another thing from YAP2 result: -

Did you plan to do the AP-2H Nam gunship too? -

The new mods and campaigns available here are more than awesonme,(like NF-4+) ore future releasases under development. But in most of them I sadly notice that Italian air Force,or Spanish Air Force (Greek and Turkish are safe cause they will be the divas of upcoming anatolian terrain and future campaigns). But why Italy and Spain are even not included? We are Nato partners too,in past years we had the same air power of other countries (and maybe greater),we had an important role over the mediterranean sea, plus we were home of many NATO squadrons (UK,Germany,France,Usaf,US Navy,USMC....)during Balkan crisis (the only one european conflict fought after WW2),we had all for a campaign I think. I think it's time to involve Italy in something as a NATO partner. I and other guys are working on an A.M.I. mod to cover this gap,(for SF-2). Let me know if you're interested

Sukhoi T-10M family(skins and more)
X RAY posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Hi there! So these are some pics of my latest WIP: The Sukhoi T-10M series AkA as Su-27M or Su-35. Thanks to all of Insky team to give us the model,I've just tried to make it better. First batch of skins are the Standard ones that equipped all of the 12 AC's. Note the lack of the probe on the radome (typical of both Su-27M and later Su-37). Let's start from Bort 703 early: This is T-10M-3 first of 6 KNAAPO built AC's (received the blue splintered camo in 1993) Bort 710: This is T-10M-10 KNAAPO built AC used as an active flying testbed for Su-35BM and T-50 too Bort 88 (MAKS 2001):
