Heres a poll.. I have to restart on my movie cause I didnt like how it was coming along. Please vote on the poll, i'm not sure which type to do.

Ranger, The new movie is gonna be Air to Ground. I decided that air to ground would be the frist movie then the 2nd would be air to air. F-4E will be in Air to Ground and F-4B will be in Air to Air. Each of them will be 4 mins long.(well the air to ground will be 4 mins anyway) Not sure about air to air yet. Right now i'm testing diffrent frame rates and such. Before i start on it. Air to ground will inculde Napalm strikes, Shrike Attacks, regular bomb attacks, runway attacks. AAA attacks, SAM site attacks, Ship attacks. You know the usual air to ground stuff. I'm gonna try to make it exciting by getting good clips and such, just a matter of being there at the right time. :) I'm not gonna relese a trailer, cause there is really no point. So just to keep you guys updated. BTW the movie is no longer called Iron war, its called the Eyes in the Sky, the orignal one I thought of, it fits the new song better. CylixJW

As you know ive been making a SF movie, and I got a problem here. I started making it and I saved it in windows movie maker and then I tried to play it in Windows media player and it was blurry? pcpilot or tim canada or anyone, is there any way to fix this? make the video more clear? like when it goes to cockpit it is reak blurry and you can't see the pipper or the gun fire.. help please? :( thanks guys :o :D

Todd, It ays on the fraps FAQ that it has to be set to 640x480x16bit (for DirectX games) for directX games.. Could you explian alittle more please? Video screen size, how do I set that? In SF options? When I set diffrenent options in SF the video doesnt work. Could you exlpain more about what ur saying here thanks

Well.. its a good name for a spiecal ops team or something airborne. But for a movie name? ehh... doesn't sound good to be... But # of the beast does.. :shock: :D

Do you guys think that 4 min movie is short? cause that is how long part 1 of Iron war is. :D Part 2 will be even longer then that.

Its called Iron War Part 1 cause, There will be a longer part 2. and the music as something to do with Iron... and i thought it was a good name. I was gonna have it, eyes in the sky.. :? thats sounds stuiped.. i think. :)

Hey, I took the time to take your WMV topgun movie and convert it to a MPG movie, if your interested. :D It seems to work alot better in windows media player, if its a MPG file. Btw, I posted a topic "I got a problem", I need some help from you there. thanks Cylix

Pcpilot, I made a little movie of a napalm strike, and there is the little red thing up in the upper left hand of the screen of the AVI clips. Fraps is off. whats the deal? I also made the misteak of making clips about 2 secs.. LOL So my movie goes super fast, but I know now how to do it.. :) I also picked up the transistion thing also. About the red thing in the corner... when i'm done with my flight taking video, I exit sfp1, and exit out of fraps.. then the red words are there still. any ideas on how to remove it?

o i frogot... :P AVI to MPG reduces the file size. WMV to MPG makes the size bigger. :D

O its a program, with a 30 day trail. I got it cause i thought I could fix the problem I was having. But I fixed it by downloading a diffrent version of fraps. The program is called TMPGEnc. It converts AVI to MPG-1/2 and WMV to MPG-1/2, and some others as well. I havent tried to find a hack for it, so I can keep it for more then 30 days. Only side effect is it makes the MPG of ur topgun move 25 mb. Instead of 2mb. :? But the overall videos alot better. Also PCpilot, could you give me some tips on how I can get good transitions and how to remove the radar and alitude,name and the Recrod thing thats in the movie. How do I remove those?

This is mainly to pcpilot.. but anyone else who can help.. i would appriate it. When I use fraps to record a movie, and then they are in the fraps folder and they are AVI files right? I got to windows movie maker and try to import oen of them in, and it gives me an error. It says make sure the file is not invalid, or corrputed. I dont think its corrpted.. and WMM supports AVI, anyone help, please!? :( Thanks :?

Hey, I downloaded your topgun movie from the aerodome and I have to tell ya, that was a great movie. I was wondering how do you make movies like that? Do you have to have some sort of program? When up in the A-1 a couple of minutes ago.. didnt make it though. :? I herd.. I'm Hit! I looked at my wing to find out... he got a weee bit to close to the triple A. I dropped 4 Napalms toward the AAA and I think I was to close.. :shock: Yeah I think I got alittle to close to my own napalms.. burned me up.. had to bail. [/url]

That happened to me once, I exited then went back to the same game and it allowed me to play. Where it said terrian it said *Desert* then when I cam back it said Desert(Fictonal) then it allowed me to play. Dont know what it is happing to you everytime. :roll:

Hello peoples, I have been getting errors when trying to play multiplayer in HL. I kept getting black screens when I started the game and then it wouldn't responde, and I had to end task. But tonight Fast_Eagle told me that he might have a answer. He told me that i had to have a file in the NetCache folder in ur SFP1 folder. I checked and it wasnt there. It seems the patch left it out or something. The file he sent me was AircraftList. I put that in the folder tried multiplayer and it work just fine. If you are havin, this problem and want to try the file input thing eagle discovered, just e-mail me and I will send it to you. It worked for me and might as well give it a try. :D It works fine now. Only had 1 CTD so far. 1 player is much better now. no CTDs or nothing. so just wanted to tell you guys that if you didnt already know.

yes that is the one.. i guess u already have it.. do you have the black screen problem? If you do you should try waiting long at the black screen.
