Well here in England unleaded fuel is about £1.37. per litre. That works out at roughly £5.18 per US Gallon or about $8.15. You Americans don't know how lucky you are! PS Diesel is about $8.72
  3. Gay Flight Attendant

    Priceless

  7. File Name: F-111 Pit repaint for SU-24. File Submitter: mikeymead File Submitted: 30 December 2011 File Updated: 31 March 2012 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Cockpits F-111 Pit repaint for SU-24. This is my attempt to repaint NormanKnight's F-111 pit to represent the Su-24's pit. It is no way accurate as it is what it is, a repaint of an existing pit. There are some issues, some of the translations are probably (definitely) wrong! Any Russian speakers are welcome to offer alternative suggestions. The artificial horizon and HSI are both of the western type not Russian, this is due to the existing model and my lack of ability to even know if it could be changed. I would like to thank NormanKnight for creating the F-111 pit, Fastcargo for allowing me to use it. Sony Tuckson for allowing me to use a couple of textures from the Mirage Factory's Mig 29 Pit. ErikGen for allowing me to use some of his radar screen textures from his TU-128. The whole Combatace community for generally helping me out in the past. And finally TK for producing this game and allowing it to be moddable. Freeware use only. Hope you enjoy this mod. Mikeymead. Updated version: Changed file from 7zip to winzip as some people were having problems extracting the original. Click here to download this file
  8. Well I think that your so called "poor effort" is a massive improvment on what we have at the moment! You do yourself a disservice sir. I'd post it
  9. 50th Birthday today

  10. As you know....

I must be a soppy git as I wept like a baby reading this!
  11. Happy Birthday Sundowner

Happy Birthday, have a good one!
  12. I've only ever had to save the the inis for the stock aircraft that I've made flyable and then its only the main iny and sometimes data ini (if its been modified) that I've had to change. Downloaded add on aircraft (not DLC) should be ok. An other way of doing it is to make a copy of the whole aircraft folder, keep only your made flyable stock aircraft in it and after every time you've added a DLC aircraft copy and paste it over your mod folder letting it overwrite. mikeymead
  13. BIRTHDAYS!

    Happy Birthday Chaps!
  14. Yep, it does have a tendancy to do that. Best way is to make copies of all the modified inis of the stock aircraft that you have made flyable and then rename them. That way when this happens all you just have to open the copies, then "save as" the ini that has been changed by the DLC install. Also I tend to buy or at least install all my DLC in blocks so that I can minimise how many times I have to do this. It's a pain but I can't see it getting any better.
  15. Windows XP Memory Question

Hi Markl, As far as I'm aware the 4 gig limit does include the video card ram as well so you are exceeding XP's 32bit memory limit. Now as for having to replace the 2 gig sticks with 1 gig sticks I not so sure about as at this point I run out of knowledge. My current system has 3 x 2 gig sticks (Triple channel Memory) and 1 gig video memory, I run this system in both XP 32bit and Win7 64 bit with no real issues. Hope this helps a bit Mikeymead.
  16. "Clem's available, if one knows where to look. The SF2 version I'd uploaded was removed at Marcello's request; I'd thought it was TMFs, since it was in one of their packs, but it weren't." And if one doesn't know where to look any clues
  17. Well worth the wait, excellent!
  18. TV or Monitor advice again please

Hi, I'm in the same position as UK_Widowmaker in that I want to upgrade to a larger monitor as well. Are the moniters suggested wall mountable? They probably are but Amazon wasn't that clear about it. What is the sound quality like? With a bigger monitor I won't have room for seperate speakers. As for using top quality hdmi cables, I'm sure that I saw a recent Gadget Show where they did a review on these and came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth spending the money on top notch cables as they couldn't see any difference to cheap ones!
  19. Happy Birthday Brain32!

Happy Birthday, have a good one!
  20. Thank you very much, really nice but I don't seem to have any afterburner emitters.
  21. Sorry Guys, I should have asked this in my last post but I didn't notice them but after these two I should be sorted. What do NWS/AR and BNDT mean? Sorry for being a nuisance. Mikeymead
  22. These are still in English, I haven't translated them to Russian yet. I'm sure some of the other ones I have translated are probably wrong as I've been using Google translate and stuff that I've found in other Russian cockpit, apart from that I have no knowledge of Russian. Any one with any corrections please chip in so I can make changes.
  23. Sorry, I wasn't very specific about there placement. See picture below. I think the NWS/AR is to do with in-flight refuelling and the BNDT has some sort of range counter. It may have something to do with distance to target or way-point.
