  1. Yeah... but ,The F-4 Phantom is very much a two seater.... All production variants / active combat service variants of the F-4 Phantom II were 2-seaters....
  2. Ahh!!! Just you wait... When DCS releases an F-4E, F-14 or an F-16 Module....I'll do the same thing with the MiG-21 as my victim.... But then again; I'm not sure when this is going to happen though....Apparently no new 4th, 4.5th and 5th gen modules seem anywhere near release except for maybe Belsimtek's F-15C Advanced flight model which was recently out.... P.S.: This was only meant to be taken on a lighter note.... No offence meant to anyone... Cheers!

Dear All, I've been experiencing visual anomalies with the following aircraft in SF2: 1) Frtn's Rafale M: double cockpit issue even after matching the entries of the seat position and pilot position as well as using the lods intended for SF2 2) The Viper Team's Block 52+ F-16D (Polish Air Force) has a transparent nose in SF2: NA's Iceland terrain but displays normally in all other terrains 3) Stipe's Gripen F: There is a double cockpit and the radar and avionics don't function although the relevant entries are present in the .ini's. My SF2 Installation is a merged installation of SF2: Vietnam, SF2: Europe, SF2: Israel & SF:2 north Atlantic Updated with the latest patch (July 2013). Please don't get me wrong: I'm NOT trying to find fault with any of the mods mentioned above... I'm just seeking assistance as to resolve the issues I'm experiencing.   4. Hi Russouk2004, Already tried re-downloading and the same result... However I tried tweaking the GFX settings and It appeared normal... Screenshot attached... Thank you all very much who contributed in this thread, and helping me solve the issues... :)
  5. Hi Raven... I tried what you suggested by deleting the decals .ini for all the Polish F-16D's skin... no change the nose still remains transparent...

After following your suggestions the Gripen F now has functional avionics Thanks to all who have posted in this topic.. with your help, the double cockpits in the Rafale M & the Gripen F are no longer an issue... The Gripen F now has functional avionics... Only the the issue with the Polish F-16D Block 52+ remains.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. No hurries though... Thanks

Dear MiGBuster, Loneman & Wrench, Thanks for your replies and suggestions provided and I've tried them and the results are as follows: @MiGBuster: I thought that the Block 52 Polish F-16's were exclusively meant for SF2 installations.. I too suspected a bad installation, I deleted the Block 52 Polish F-16's downloaded the files afresh, and placed the relevant folders in the relevant sections and still the transparent nose issue exists only for the two seater (F-16D) and that too, only in the Iceland terrain. However the single Seater (F-16C) has no problems whatsoever even in my previous install.. Anyway as requested I've attached a copy of my DXDiag.exe output as a text file in this post.DxDiag.txt @Loneman: I followed your suggestion by setting the "ShowFromCockpit" for the fuselage from true to false for both the Gripen F & the Rafale M and the results are more acceptable now.. thanks for the suggestion to make the Rafale M carrier based. it works properly now. Hats off to you, mate! @ Wrench: I downloaded The Polish F-16 pack by the Viper team from the SF2 download section. As you suggested I Checked the decals.ini for each of the skins of the Polish F-16D all of them do not exceed 4. I checked the relevant data.ini file and there's no reference to any fake pilot add-on and bird slicers... The avionics dll listed in JAS39F.ini is Avionics70.dll. I guess the HUD statements in the avionics.ini are SF2 compliant 'coz I downloaded it from the SF2 section... Am I missing anything else.. Once again Please note that I'm not trying to find fault & these aren't complaints. Thanks

Are there chances of any of them being released this year? They're still WIP's right? Does anyone kow the status of these projects? thanks..
  9. Oh no! don't tell me that these projects are shelved...Please say it isn't so.... I'll bet that a lot of us were looking forward to these modules being released.... even as beta projects there'd definitely be sales if they were to be released...

The bull Shark (Carcharinas leucas) is one of the most agressive shark species known and is even known to enter fresh water and is responsible for numerous attacks on swimmers......'

    Yes.. That's right..a barracuda is much more aggressive than a leopard shark....

    Interesting.... But I wouldn't worry about it too much though... The Leopard shark (Triakis Semifasciata), [the same specimens observed in the Venice beach canals,] is harmless to humans and even large specimens would most likely flee from approaching humans... they don't grow more than 5 feet in length.. and have a normally very docile temprament... http://en.wikipedia....i/Leopard_shark So there's nothing much to worry about... :) Cheers!

  18. Correct me if i'm wrong; but wasn't the HAWX series a spin-off of the Ace Combat series? AC:AH has 30+ stock aircraft; all of them well detailed and rendered. (The aircraft model detail in HAWX left a lot to be desired) All Aircraft in AC:AH have accurate cockpits and loadouts (This feature was missing in both Heroes Of the Pacific & HAWX)
  19. Well... I was thinking that as a result of this other developers may think on releasing some modern Jet sims for PC users... You said that there had been (PC?) games with with 4th and 5th gen aircraft for some time.. Other than the Strike Fighters series & LOMAC are there any others?

  21. Dear All, I'm having a bit of trouble with two jets in SF2: North Atlantic namely the F-117A Nighthawk & KF-2 Hammer .... My Installation Is merged fwith SF2:Israel , Europe & vietnam Updated to the April 2012 Patch.... 1) With regard to the F-117A from NATO Fighters (Not Operation Darius) (i just have just the jet& relevant decals installed), it worked fine in SF2: Israel (& still does) but when i reinstalled all mods to the SF2:North Atlantic folder/ Now I just get a crash to desktop once the loading screen completes 2) I managed to convert the KF-2 Hammer to SF-2 Standards and the model displays ok,, with decals, effects & all but the cockpit is distorted..... has anyone succeeded in converting the KF2 to SF2 Standard, if so would you kindly consider sharing the ini's ? Please Could someone help me out on this? Thanks

Dear Sir, With regard to the F-117A I understand your point that there's nothing for it to do in SF2:NA but, what i meant to say that when i start the game from SF2: NA I can't use it for other terrains also (Germany, Israel, Range as well as Iceland) even if i set the mission type to "strike" Wheras when i copied the relavant files into the SF2: Israel mod folder I can use it flawlessly for all terrains including Iceland..... Oh I Got The F-117A from NATO Fighters for SF2.....but I'm absolutely certain I didn't tamper with the INI's.... By the way, i wasn't trying to find fault so pls don't get me wrong.....
