Appetite whetter !

Russ, please continue with your S.2B. Okay folks, I was just being naughty (hey, I never said it was mine, ever - now did I). It's not real (yet!) but see how good the Bucc' looks. Intended as a spur to whomever is now doing the Mighty Buccaneer. With all the excellent a\c uploaded of late this would be a worthy addition. Ha ha. Gotcha ! -
Classic ! ...mind you, they're more human and funnier than some of the bozo's I sometimes have to deal with

Half expected to see Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum putting in an appearance.

Individual Serial Numbers
Syrinx replied to Rambler 1-1's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
It's the decal level in the decal.ini that's important. AFAIK, decal level 0 will give all a\c the same decals (for star & bar, roundels etc). decal level 2 will give each a\c it's own decal (serials, codes, noseart etc). Someone more qualified will be able to give a better answer as I'm still a decal rookie really. -

Hmm...I have it on record that the tea was poured into the harbour at an angle not conducive to good practice. Also I have it on very good authority that the little finger was not raised whilst the beverage was poured. Indeed, it may have been the middle finger, whot. Haw haw toodle pip. Must dash. -
Chuck Norris gives a thumbs up when he hears the name Bobrock. Even Mr.T does a double take.

Very nice ST. First thing that popped into my head when I saw that was "Jimmy Stewart" ! Great stuff. -

You know, I never cease to be amazed at the quality of work you modders are putting out. If I had a hat I'd take it off to each and every one of you. Thanks again. -
TSR-2
Syrinx replied to snakeman's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Woah Dave...does that mean you're giving the Borat swimsuit another airing tonite ? Anyway I expect that once Craig does get back he'll be busy with his new job and free time will be at a premium. I don't think Mrs. Bongodriver would be very impressed if he was slaving over his PC...she'll have first dibs so I'm afraid as Dave says the TSR-2 will just have to wait. There's a lot to be said for patience you know. -
Hunters
Syrinx replied to Richard6's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Cheers Alfie ! RAF birds just look sooo naked without any serial numbers It's called RAF_PW_ATH. Spot on for RAF serials. Available at www.simmerspaintshop.com -
Hunters
Syrinx replied to Richard6's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I agree. The Hunter does pose a challenge but not an insurmountable one. You have to think and plan your tactics. Be flexible and know your limits and she'll bring you home. As a dedicated mud-mover I enjoy air to ground in the Hunter and try to avoid a dogfight unless it's the only way out. Even then I'll break off as soon as I can. Yes, you've got to love the Hunter... -

Hope you don't mind Spinners but I've been working on serials for the 8 Sqn machines. Only a few and of these I only know one airframe is the correct one but it's better than nowt. Includes the underwing serials too and rank pennant badges. Let me know if you need em. -
Hunter FGA.9 - No.8 squadron RAF
Syrinx replied to Spinners's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
I'll see if I can track down then make the correct serials for 8 sqn Hunter FGA9's. Don't hold your breath though. Great work Spinners. I'm totally impressed. Thankyou. -

The AD Hunter F6 is a super aircraft too. Lots of scope for skinning and decals etc. More Hunters please, truly a beautiful aeroplane. Sorry Spinners but you are the current "Mr.Skin RAF & Commonwealth 2008" after all... -

Syrinx replied to Viper6's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
It'll be a slow process, but I suggest adding mods one at a time then testing. Some of the newer mods and aircraft (esp' those made for WOI) should be ok. It's the older ones that might give you the most headaches. -
