Motherboards... The best for $$
Fleet Command CC replied to Major Lee's topic in Hardware/Software Chat
How about the ASRock 4Core1333-FullHD, this is the Mobo I ham going to buy. I think it's a good motherboard for £58.69 inc. VAT This MoBo support up to Quad Core Yorkfield and Dual Core Wolfdale 45nm CPU 's, and also supports 1080p Blu-ray (BD) / HD-DVD playback. Check out the link for the full rundown of the Mobo. http ://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Mode...ore1333-FullHD http://www.asrock.com/support/Yorkfield.asp Also check out some of these Hardwear Reviewing Sites. www.bit-tech.net www.hardwarelogic.com www.hardwarezone.com They should help you get the best Mobo for the money. -

Yep I agree more ST PC games, maybe a new Star Trek Armada game would be aa good start. I was very dispointed with Star Trek: Legacy, the graphics was the only great thing about that game.

Rational Reducer A great tool for reducing the number of polygons in 3D models, while preserving visual quality. A demo of the Rational Reducer available from the link below, but there is one problem the software cost about $6000 dollars! http://www.km.kongsberg.com/KS/WEB/NOKBG0240.nsf/AllWeb/F00C1BB5673DD41AC1257301004C28FE?OpenDocument A Great piece of software though. I email www.km.kongsberg.com about there plugin and this is what they said. Thank you for your interest in our software. The 3DS Plug-in is priced at 845.00 USD. We do not normally sell to home users, but if we can send you an invoice for payment there shouldn't be any problems at all. To order, simply send me an email with your invoice address and I will send you the plug-in electronically together with the license key. That's better that $6000 dollars, but $845 dollars is still alot of cash.

If you would like to do some graphic modelling. I would highly recommand AC3D 6.2 it's easy to use and also can import & export many different types of 3d files, there is a 14 day demo from the link below. I have got 3D Studio Max R3.1 and Max 9 and I found AC3D alot easy to use if you are a newbe to modelling give this software a try. http://www.inivis.com/

Yep there is at NWS-OnLine Forum > NWS - Naval Warfare Project for Fleet Command. I'm also in to WW1/WW2 battleships sea battle that's why I would like to get some of the ship model on this web site in .3ds file type. So I can add them to FC because NWP wil not add WW1 & WW2 ships to the NWP mod, because the scope of the mod is between 1965 to 2015. -
