  1. Thanks Cocas, that should be it! Comes out to around 30knots.
  2. Alright found the culprit. MaxOffRoadSpeed variable should be either larger than the Carrier/Transport it will be escorting OR at least 15.44. Can't really figure out the significance of that number. EDIT6!!: Fixed my previous thesis...
  3. I prefer not to discuss it in this thread. Landing back at Foch.
  4. Don't forget this in the options.INI: ObjectsFade=FALSE Vampire!
  5. Thanks WBS Notes: Userlist callout should be in the main INI. I also can't get it to show up in random single missions. I've edited out all the other stock russian escorts, but always a single Kiev class is created as enemy taskforce. I've been trying all kinds of modifications but still can't find what's up. (tried disabling export, rearranging LOD callouts per stock examples, renaming superstructure lod etc..) Interestingly if I replace the whole riga_data contents with Kashin_data, it magically is added to enemy taskforces.. Riga works perfectly if I custom add it to a mission though... stil experimenting..
  6. Just experimenting.... IsraelME terrain with Iceland water FX. Yep lots of problems... Notes: Had to use IcelandNA.CAT, so extracted and copied everything from an old IsraelME.CAT version. Inserted the below lines to IsraelME_DATA.INI [WaterTextureMaterial] EffectShaderName=iceland_WaterEffect.fx Specular=0.8 Glossiness=0.40 ReflectionStage=1
  7. sounds should be in the top folder. next to the objects folder, (not inside it) Weapons folder should be IN the objects folder. create those two folders if you don't have them. and copy the files from the mod packages there..
  8. Keep going mate, will be much appreciated
  9. check the campaign forum. Jonathan or WBS had a thread that contains a suggested fix for the ships..
  10. Yes, the coast tiles are gone.. Perhaps TK will adopt it for his old terrains.. Without FX files we don't have much to play I guess, even with them not sure what can be done..
  11. Feet wet. Pickle. Shack! Fighters on deck. Strafe! (Got an F-14 it seems, from the Mission Log) Turn around and there's Tomcat launching.. Got that one too!
  12. With the new ASM missile, I was thinking if it could be done. Haven't experimented much yet. I hope you can crack this case
  13. The RIM-2D missiles, instead of dropping the booster part, the whole model is dropped after the first stage. So after that there is a blank missile coming after you
  14. Jonathan, about your anti shipping post at TW, just did a test in stock NA terrain. Inserted ANTI_SHIP to allowed missions for the terrain and also added a shipping line in movements.ini As you noted, as flying for friendly side, I can't get a proper Anti_Ship mission. The game gives me a Hawkeye with a generic Recon route (2 waypoints) and a null target. BUT if I fly the red side, I do get a proper mission. Just attacked a convoy of CargoShips at the shipping route I inserted below. Something to investigate perhaps.. I think all this stuff is related to NavalMap=TRUE. And hope TK modifies this behaviour.. [Route009] RouteType=SHIPPING StartArea=Selfoss EndArea=Vík í Mırdal RoutePosition[001]=500000,200000 RoutePosition[002]=400000,200000
  15. Bump! Thanks for the update mate.
  16. Thanks Stary. Note: The watermap is not 8bits, that's why in my install I couldn't insert any ships using ME, because the whole map is considered to be land. Here's a converted watermap that fixes it for me. ocean_water.rar
  17. Thanks Wrench. Interestingly the game locks up at %40 if I load Ravenclaw's GBU-10D_N. Can't figure out why but I think it's from the weapon..
  18. I think the water is much improved from previous games. It's got reflection, a decent amount of wave action... Certainly Atlantic could be represented better, but since this is not a ship/sub sim, I'm not sweating over it. Actually pretty happy with what we got.
