  2. This is big mate, I've been trying to accomplish this for a long while I don't know why TK did away with the Briefing Page in the first place. It gives good info on target, visibility, wind and callsigns. I've been tinkering with yours, only the wind values seem a bit off from what I set, will experiment more. And guys, the package is applicable also to all 3rd Party Terrains. The one stock terrain you choose to install, will have SITUATION info for extra.

  5. Unfortunetly the border tweek doesn't help with this. You and AI can fly past that last %10 line, but the Single Mission generator will neither allow planes to takeoff from bases in that region or have Waypoints there. Even the Mission Editor won't let you put anything there.. I wish somebody would find a solution or TK fixes it, because some of the larger terrains have this huge region wasted..
  6. Wrench, I suggest avoiding placing anything east of the 900km line, since the Mission Generator will not create any waypoints in the outer %10 of the terrain map. I know The Wall is further out but the generator has this hardcoded limit.
  7. Gentleman, I'm looking for a volunteer to take over the maintenance of the ORBAT list and planning map. I'll be very busy at work for at least two weeks; Moving our datacenter will occupy almost all my time. Here's the package that contains the excel sheet and the map in gimp format.

  12. Yes I just copied Engine entries from the original and modified per the instructions. Works great.
  13. Awesome !! Just modded one for the Phantom. Questions: I put in two extra engines. Do the EngineIDs need to be set to 3 and 4? Also how about the Armor, is it irrelevant in this case? Thanks
  14. Got it! Your BMP is 8 bits but the palette had only 111 colors Opened up ISRAEL_WATER and pasted yours on top, changed the sea color to stock value and it worked..
  15. Good stuff Wrench @Florian that's a great addition mate Did you ever figure out why the WaterMap doesn't work? The format looks correct. I was trying to build a template Mission with a Carrier Strike Group but couldn't place the ships.. And it's too bad, the game won't let us deploy east of the 900km Line..
  16. That was me And yes, there has been other ships/aircraft names inserted in the ini files before.. Those haven't materialized yet. Modders have crancked out great ships recently anyway, I just wish TK did a few and so gets the temptation to implement code for battle groups and naval ops. A lot could be accomplished with minor improvements..
  17. Ditto on the extras for DLC releases. On the other hand, TK just said carriers cost as much as aircraft models Which is an exaggeration IMHO. I hope somehow, he surprises us and includes a few new ships in Tomcat.
  18. Did you disable this in your Options.INI: ObjectsFade=FALSE And like Stary said, force AA/AF for crisper visuals.

  21. Alright guys, to keep this thing manageable, please check the table below for your information. For simplicity, those that have declared more than one Squadron, consolidate them under one Force Name/Banner. And please no more than 2 types of aircraft, for current partipants. Newcomers should only declare 1 type of aircraft. This only applies to aircraft we'll keep track of. For fun and screenshots, you can fly other transport/sar/helo/etc. types and base your stories on them, but we will NOT keep record of them. I'm yet to fill in the Roles, will check the "Emergy Action Messages" thread for this info, so if you haven't given your Roles, please do via PM or this forum.
