  1. TK didn't but we did :) My Tomcat views mod does this. Pretty usefull to see how enemy AA missiles, SAMs etc. act.
  2. Stuttering all the time, or with only radar turned on? When did it start really, people started reporting it after the May patch.
  3. What patch level, and play settings (easy? hard?) Report with as much information as you can and with more testing if possible. Without these, it will only cause more people to whine about it, TK picks it up and there goes our AI code..... Because right now I'm at April2012 and do not see this behavior, also didn't when testing Jun2012 SFNA testing.

  5. Oh yes, I have a Turkish F-84 pack that needs wrapping up. After that I think I'll try my hand on the Turkish Acro Team called "Scorpion". Your skins will be very helpful on that.

  8. This is just a guess, they would use somekind of CCRP technique instead of CCIP.
  9. It's the game itself saving during the campaign, not the customizer. Plus the files are not readable, unfortunately we don't know the format
  10. ı compared the Weapons.ini file for June and May patches, there was only 2 minor changes which didn't look related to the missile effectiveness fixes. So I think the game dynamically applies an extra algorithm..
  11. Exactly mate, no word from TK and no workaround was found either. I went back to April2012 patch, which I'm not complaining because of all the SAM and missile algorithm change talks... Though I do want support from TW cause I am a paying customer.
  12. EDIT: Ooops, I was trying to post this in the AAR thread. Our mission is a deep strike inside Greece and the target is a factory in the Peloponnese peninsula. Our flight of two F-16C Blk 40 aircraft from 161.Filo Bats takeoff from our current base Balikesir. Heading west we go near the petro-chemical facilities near Izmir, on the Aegean coast. Now over the Izmir bay, we zip by a resupply harbour of the Turkish Navy. Lot's of activity down there. We turn South West to keep away from the closeby Island of Sakiz (Chiros). Blades of the wind turbines are lazy turning as we push the throttle to turn OUR turbines faster. Feet wet and out on to the dangerous waters. Many returns from the ground radar.. Ships of all kinds are sailing to their destinations. Now heading 270 West as our flight plan is to avoid flying over suspected air defenses. Though we know there is no safe air space around here. Soon enough we are being painted by a Hawk system. We get a tally on the hastily launched missile and watch as it arcs towards us, accelerating to 2.4 Mach. It almost gets one of us as I dump chaff and pull up sharply. We move quickly inland after this and passing over the high ridge I spot the factory. LANTIRN giving me perfect picture, target is being lased. Dropping my heavy GBU-10 bombs. The target before impact. Suddenly my wingman calls break! We head out jamming and dumping countermeasures. Meanwhile our escort is out and about looking for trouble. And they get it. F-5s are scrambling from Nea Anchialos. They roll in from above. One of the Phantom pilots breaks hard left as his WSO calls out a SAM launch! Me and my wingman leave a saturated air space behind us. All kinds of engaments are going on and many do not go back home that day.
  13. +1 I'm so puzzled nolimitsonya gets a reply from TK for every fracking message he writes. Many many other basic questions from old members get ignored or a quick answer and its done. Then just because a handful (sometimes just one!) complain about a piece of code, TK goes out and changes unbroken stuff to satisfy... so we end up with broken patches.... What a waste of time replying to pages of threads instead of chasing bugs and improving on what we already have..

  15. Wonderful fix for the shimmering Gerwin! I'm using NearClipDistance=1.5 and this makes it a pleasure to look at far objects. ((Also using a larger MeshSize for more drawdistance)
  16. Is this what you're looking for Dave? Options.ini: ObjectsFade=FALSE flıghtengine.ini: [unlimitedDetailOption] DetailMeshSize=8 mesh size can be even larger. This is what I use.
  17. Check also faststone image viewer. you can also do batch sizing etc. to your files
  18. Dan also did the IsraelME terrain and/or the textures for it right? Which is IMHO the best terrain out of TW yet.
  19. Haven't trıed the no-cockpit view, for me stuttering when using Avi60 radar in cockpit view and external view of my own aircraft, not when viewing other aircraft and neither in free cam..
  20. Just installed a new clean SF2E_Jul2012. Still get the damn stutters with Avionics60 radars. There's quite a few that experience this and TW is completely ignorant of it..
  21. And still TK does not comment on it.... The last two patches are dead for me, because of this issue. I also hate to see the weapons getting player specific cheats.

  23. Too bad the stuttering is still there for me. I think I'll go back to the patch before May. Bummer the populated carriers in Campaigns fix came with May.... Noticed a minor change in the new Jun2012 patch. After ejecting all camera views are available now..
