New missions for the Demo. 1. MH-60R Seahawk ASuW Demo: Scenario has pretty much the exact same stuff, only now your OHP Frigate is hostile towards you and is no longer your base. The goals are modified for the killing of the OHP. So hunt it out, approach and see if you can nail that sucker. If you want, you can still hunt the Victor III afterwards... Be careful! The FFG is MORE than capable of knocking your little seahawk out of the sky! It will not be easy! Have fun though! 2. MH60R-Seahawk ASW: Convoy Defense (HUNT DOWN 2 KILOs!!!) A convoy of two cargo ships and a super tanker is being escorted by a US OHP Frigate with SH-60R Seahawk. You are the helicopter and must protect the convoy from two Kilo-Class Diesel Submarines attempting to attack the convoy!!! Let the convoy reach the goal line and resupply American troops! It is slightly buggy, one Kilo sometimes surfaces by accident.....not horrible though.THERE IS A BUG! YOU MUST HAVE LINK DATA TURNED OFF IN OPTIONS BEFORE YOU START SCENARIO! 3. Kilo-Class Diesel Submarine ASuW: Convoy Attack A convoy of two cargo ships and a super tanker is being escorted by a US OHP Frigate with SH-60R Seahawk. You are one of two Kilo-Class Diesel Submarines and must DESTROY the convoy!!! DON'T let the convoy reach the goal line and resupply American troops! It is slightly buggy, the AI Kilo sometimes surfaces by accident.....not horrible though. 4. Kilo-Class Diesel Submarine ASW: Sub Hunt You must hunt down a Viktor III-Class SSN that has gone rogue and is attempting to attack shipping in the waters south of us. We must stop him. Hunt down the Viktor III and attempt to torpedo him without giving him a chance to fire back. Locations of the Viktor have been slightly effected from the original canned scenario this was made from. -

Martin from Battlefront has posted that DW will not ship this Friday, but was looking good for this Monday or Tuesday :). Those that preordered, should have them the mid to end of the week! The review is still in work and hopefully will be posted this weekend :) Cheers Beer

With the Preorders being taken and the final product being readied for shipment, we have antipated the need for hosting Dangerous Waters files. Biohaz is in the process of enabling a Dangerous Waters File Upload/Download area. It will feature an area for Custom Missions, Custom Skins, and Utilities. Cheers Beer

Yep! I am down for two copies! hehe I was lucky, my CC expires tomorrow. I woulda had to wait til I got home to order if they took another day to start the preorders! Although the preorders is not enabled yet, they seem to be getting closer. I am really pleased that they are ensuring they are putting out a quality product, vice a game needing a patchwork right out of the box. Skorn you bet we can hook up and do some playing with its release! Although Fates and I are not looking to change up our Squadron/Clan/Team we can certainly do some coop or head to head stuff with our Teams. As for Subsim...just building a lil rilvary is all, being alot of them are likely on the Beta team, we will try and give em hell! www.TeamODB.com Cheers Beer

Steel would enhance the MAD signiture, and enhance the sonar return. All ships and Subs are compartmentalized with collision bulkheads, especially on the forward part of the vessel.

I just got WOV and installed it. Before doing anything with the game I installed the WOV patch 1 and everything is operational. :) no issues noted with my patch install. Did you install it to a other than defualt directory? -
What relief did other countries offer Florida after the hurricanes ? I believe we should take care of our own first. Cheers Beer

My elves are hard at work stocking the 150 or so stockings for the ships crew...here is a never before seen shot of elves in the oil patch... The guys are my Nite Seaman, the girls are the Rig Clerk and the Materials Coodinator when not working for Santa.

From the SubSim forums, looks like Sonalyst and Battlefront are working together for a Feb 05 release. Beta testing is in full swing from the rumor mill and they are trying to have a very high quality product when finished vice trying to get the Xmas sales and follow up with a patch. Hats off for a wise choice. The game as it was presented to us for preview was very playable (pre Beta I understand), we here at Biohaz are looking forward to see what the Final Game brings! I suspect a great fanbase on this one, as well as a large online play community building. Remember that the game will not be sold in stores, it will be availible for mail order only and eventually make it to the stores possibly month's later. www.battlefront.com is where you can order, expect a preorder announcement a couple of weeks before the game goes gold (mid to end of Jan?), then stay tuned for probably the most comprehensive review done on a game here at Biohaz (Beer Aviation platforms, Skater Sub platforms, PC Pilot shipboard platforms...along with combined online play, and possible modding potential). Sounds to me like Trashman has already made up his mind. We are not gonna beat the Walmart Horse, this a stand alone game that cost less than a tank a fuel. Those that like it, enjoy the hell out of it, those that don't can use their money elsewhere. If you did not like the patched SFP1 you likely won't like WOV. Excellent reply BUFF. Cheers Beer -
