Yup thats a pretty slick bird, as for the afterburner I don't think its in its final location . It appaers to start after the nozzle by quite a bit. But I am sure that little things will be taken care of before release.

It is pretty much done I just have to finish up the number decals and zip it up. RL has been a bitch this week ( family in the hospital) so I haven't had much time.I'll see if I can't get it out Later today or tomorrow. Here's how it looks so far.

On all of the templates I have seen the weathering has been painted directly onto the skin. It hasn't been its own layer. Sorry but I'm guessing you'll have to paint them yourself.

Geez a guy does a new skin and no body notices ....... The model is 100% as issued its the paint SEA wrap around camo.

Actually J.Burns, There are a few of us skinners that use the decal system. It works great but does provide its share of headaches when first learning.

Raven the max lod setting is there to determine how far away the decal is visible.I f you would like to send me the decals .ini folder I can take a look at it and see if I can help you.

I think your'e exceding the decal mesh limit. You can only have 4 decals per mesh and don't forget on the tail that mean both sides. So you can only put 2 decals per side on the tail.

the D folder is inside the main 111 folder and there it must stay. Otherwise the decals.ini. file won't find the decals.

There is now a D model lizard wearing the colours of the 111st FIS of the Texas ANG. The skin has been uploaded to both AVSIM and BIOHAZ

Yes I do , Seems I'm a bone head and attached the wrong Nose1.tga file into the zip. I've sent a new version in and hopefully Jeff will have it up soon.

I feel for you guys, I quit a year ago on new years.Not to scare you but if you think day three is a bitch wait till you hit month three. Something about threes , around month nine was tough as well.

They seemed to have changed the address for the forum so the one thats in your favorites won't work anymore . Just get to the forum through the simhq home page and then reset your favorites. :D

They should both be ready for release by this weekend I hope.I have a Big Asssed(Interprovincal Certification) test on friday so I should be studying not skinning.
