  1. Anyone up for new menu screens?

The excessive amount of files required for animation is why I never used it. I think FRAPS lets you save a stream of .bmp's which you can use as animation. BTW, is the LoopingAnimation parameter still broken, i.e. if you set it to FALSE does the animation nevertheless loop? If it now works, that would allow some nice fade-in animations on menu items.

  5. The topic description says it all - if added the ASW, SoCal, Desert and GermanyCE terrains to the \terrain folder in WOI, but they don't show up in single missions. I'm probably doing something very basic wrong here. I searched but I couldn't find a topic addressing this issue. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

  7. Oops - problem solved. I had copied the entire WoI folder for modding purposes (including a short cut), but of course the short cut still pointed to the unmodded WoI folder. Thanks everyone for their assistance!
  8. I copied the Desert folder and added the pointer to the terrain .ini ===> ..\Desert\Desert.cat (or doesn't that work anymore in WoI?) That's my experience with SF and WoE as well.

  19. Anyone up for new menu screens?

Stwa knows how to add additional menu screens (using planningmap as a basis). You should PM him for details, I'm sure he'll be glad to point you in the right direction.

  25. Question about medals

Yes - but WOI has an option to review your medals - this may be added to FE (and SF/WOV/WOE) in an upcoming patch.
