Brain32 replied to ianh755's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
When it's layed out properly, texture will be easy...I just need to finish the 3D part first. Obviously, don't expect too much this year -

Every bit helps as I did it more by eye than anything else as I couldn't find a decent drawing anywhere. Measurments are correct btw 2,95m lenght, 166mm diameter -

Yeah green section is just a mesh with no material assigned yet, but this is good info so the seeker cap is 1/2 of the body diameter -

There's a topic about that but I never figured it out either lol -
Well it's official

Ya think? I mean I'm pretty comfortable with max, the question will be how it's done, TE didn't look too bad at the first look either lol Anyway guys, we will most certainly open a topic on terrain modding when it comes up and ask for it to be pinned so we can brainstorm in there... -
Well it's official

OK to cut the story short, can I use any of the released models as GBU-24 lol -

Brain32 replied to ianh755's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
One question guys...GBU-24 is the same as GBU-27 right? Just the warhead is different in that the 27 is a bunker penetrator and the 24 is a regular kick ass GBU? -
Well it's official

I must admit, the suspense is killing me, TK and the team managed to hype me up about SF2NA big time -

It's too far, might be a contrast thing or transparancy, looking at the green vs rock it does not look so sharp...but it's hard to say as the shot is still from too far away... -
I need a new joystick

Cant go wrong with Saitek for the cheap and good price range, I had quite a few cheapsters like Genius, Logitech etc. but nothing came close to Saitek, my first Saitek(CyborgEVO) endured over 4 years of heavy punishment in IL-2 online wars. Now I have Saitek ST290, dirt cheap(I think it's like 20$) I bought it in 2007 I think lol still almost as good as new... -
EF-2000 typhoon beta for SF 2 series
Brain32 replied to Bongodriver's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
I managed to squeeze in a few mins yesterday... First of the model is...I mean really...incredibly beautifull The FM itself is quite good - it supercruises nicely - it's not twitching with wing leveler which is great - it can be over-G'ed(not as much as the old one which I could pump over 20G's, with this one I managed about 13-15G and that was intentional, when I'm not trying to pull it to the max it behaves normally), I believe that's what Spillone is refering to but as Fubar showed me few weeks ago, that's an easy fix Overall, this is more of a RC than a beta, it's really awsome -
Well it's official
Brain32 replied to Romflyer's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
It's all nice and fine, I only wonder about DEM to 3dsMAX importing(or however we will get elevation data)... -
EF-2000....beta?

Is that Japan terrain? If it is, do you want a full sat-imagery based tileset(autumn style) for it? If yes, PM me if you are interested... -
Check this out buddy: This is pure horror, half of them is crying because they are totally fu*** brainwashed, half of them because...well would you dare not to cry over there? I'm not sure I would. System such as that is never held by one man, and I have no illusions it will be ran by that fat kid they are showing around...
