Single aircraft purchases?

Yeah, and Corsairs are not even comparable it's like real plane flew into my monitor lol That's why I said that I think TK should avoid mirroring most of the 3rd party work ;) -

Dave is talking about new feature introduced into SF2 series that enables the game to be ran in DX10 mode IF the user has DX10 capable hardware and operating system. This feature has to be enabled via the *.INI edit and if all requirements are met it often leads to 100% performance improvement, yes the FPS get doubled However that code path is not finished yet, and while other stuff is not so important, on of the major problem in that mode is that HUD's don't show up... That's why some of have been campaigning for it on TW forums :) The games work perfectly normal in default, DX9 mode :) -

Yup MiG-21's and 29's already have that thanks to Paladrian, just the 23's left :D -

I think if he goes SP add-ons, Russian planes are way to go! Reasons: 1.) Nearly every major, medium or even minor western plane is either made, or WiP(often a late one) 2.) Many times in past people have asked for the opposing force 3.) In case of multiplayer game some time in the future he would already have a finished art material Now personally I would eat my shorts for nicely done Floggers, that would be sweeeeeeeeeeet, or maybe even some exotics like Tu-22 or Su-24... I also think that if TK decides to take that road to check on what's available in terms of 3rd party, as time goes by the 3rd party is shining with more and more quality, quite often going over the stock TW stuff and most of the time atleast as good.... -

Buddy, just extract the contents of "LateBone" folder into your game folder and that's it, same as other mods ;) -

Yes with Oct2008 patch all titles could work perfectly fine in Vista and now the funny stuff, a major feature of Vista aka DX10 is not fully supported because TK thinks not many people would use it - funny eh? Anyway I do think new features, models, cockpits and other stuff are super great, but marketing theese games as Vista editions is a complete miss IMO -

Yeah you can make that with TW's GunEditor if I'm not mistaken. :) However, on a historical/accuracy note, the Ju87G carried AP(armour piercing) ammo, as it was esentially a tank buster, the(for me) insanity was the tactics as the shells could only penetrate the armour if the tank was hit from behind and in the engine. *** An interesting thing is that the most decorated man in whole German military in WW2 was a legendary "Stuka" pilot, Hans Ulrich-Rudel, that guy wasted what would today be a respectable army on his own lol and to that he even managed 9 aerial kills. The super interesting trivia is that allegedly Rudel even helped the A-10 designers with his input! There I hope I didn't bore anybody to death with this lol -
IT'S BACKUP YOUR STUFF DAY!
Brain32 replied to Stary's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
There my friend, now you can I hope understand my frustrations when I found out the HUD's are not working and there is no intrest from the dev. to make them working...not even in "two weeks" I'm completely comfortable of waiting for ;) As for backups I hold everything on a HDD that's in my USB external case, works like a charm, it's quick, dirt cheap and quite reliable :) -
What is This?

Sabre's, it does not matter how you call them they are still awsome :) -
I Even Have A Question - totally WOX related of course.......NOT!
Brain32 replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Well something died on my computer, now I'm on my ancient AXP NF2 and GF6800 unbelievable, can any electronics built today last atleast through the warranty period - I guess not. Today I ate some rice, peas and meat, was quite tastefull but now I have super strong gases - seriously, a bit stronger and I could practice my VTOL capatibilites... Other than that it's very HOT here, highly unusual for May, I guess that's why there are no squirrels to be seen lately... -

May patches released for SFP2 and SFP2V
Brain32 replied to GwynO's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Well with certain option I have a 100% increase of performance with the new series, and this improvement alone is more than enough for me to forget about the old series... We have similar priorities but probably different hardware... -
There's still some life in the old girl....

That IS it ;) -
Same here, while I'm alos interested in StarTrek, I know the lines from T1 and T2 backwards! T3 I found awsome too, but T1/2 are pure action SciFi classics for me. The only thing I'll miss in T4 however is the Governer of California hehe
