  1. 165 downloads

This download contains two Nieuport skins. 1. Nieuport 24 - Camouflage fuselage and wings with a bare metal nose section and cowl. 2. Nieuport 27 - Camouflage fuselage including nose, cowl and struts. You can select different national markings as well as squadron markings directly from the game loadout menu. I only created serial numbers for the rudder. These are in the "D" folder inside of the skin folders. Feel free to rename the folders to what ever you like. Drop each "Camo" skin folder in it's corresponding aircraft folder: Thanks to EmlD for the Nieuport models and allowing us to create new skins for them. The skins and skins only were done by quack74. Enjoy, quack74
  2. It's working now. Everyone can download the file. Sorry for the delay. Could an administrator remove that broken file report at the top?
  3. I saw that too. I dont know what thats about????? I sent someone a message about the problem. Maybe It's because of the site work that was just done? Or the file is bad. I'll try to repost it. If anyone wants this it is in the FE forums as well.
  4. Maybe there is a problem. I dont know.
  5. Ok here are a few pics of Ne.24's and Ne.27's with camo paint. The 24's have a bare metal front and the 27's have green. There wont be any painted on markings because the game already generates all of them. I edited the decal.ini a bit so things are positioned right, or better. I'll post them soon.
  6. View File Airfields for Bombers First off this is for First Eagles Gold. But I'm sure it will work with FE2. I figured a simple way to use heavy bombers that takeoff from airfields without changing the spacing for fighters. What I did was copy a terrain folder (for this example I'll use the Flanders terrain) and renamed it "Flanders_Bombers". And then changed the spacing in the "WWI_AIRFIELDS1 .ini" in the new terrain folder. Now I can select the new "Flanders_Bombers" in the terrain menu and takeoff with any of the heavy bombers. All the missions are the same and all the same aircraft will appear. There is a bit more to do. It's all in the Readme file inside. The new "WWI_AIRFIELDS1.ini" is also included. A link is also included in the readme for the heavy bombers if you dont already have them. Hope you like this. It's great for bombing missions. 8. Wow! Thanks guys. I'm still learning as I go. Everytime I do a new skin I seem to learn new tricks. This is my first camo pattern. Hard to do around the 4 different fuselage meshes and getting the colors to line up. I've been thinking of doing some N.28's of USAS squads.
  9. Just trying out a few versions. I dont really have to many pics of camo upper wings. But is this what you had in mind? Dont mind the markings. BTW this is a Ne.27.
  10. Good to know they will work. And I'm sure one of use will figure a way for them to work the way they were intended, from water, without other aircraft spawning. Thanks Wrench. But we have no Seaplanes ........yet
  11. I think he's been busy making a kid . Hope all is well Laton
  12. What ever happened with the Float Planes?????
  13. BTW, love Maiden. I try and see them when they hiy New York. Some of the best concerts I've ever seen.
  14. Peter01!!!!!!
  15. We just didnt want Daycare to raise our kid. I wanted her to know who her parents and family are. And I wanted to be able to see her grow and learn things. It's been interesting thats for sure. Being out of work does suck. But being with my daughter is priceless. Glad to know I'm not the only guy who had to stay home. I'll tell ya I hated it at first. Had some rough days . I had a construction job before so I was out side all year round. Had lots of fun things I "liked" to do. And I really had to give up almost everything. Kind of makes you feel pretty lousy for awhile. But now it's much easier to take care of my daughter. She's old enough to go outside and run around and play by herself. So it's not 100% hands on anymore. Now I can do stuff. I dont know how the hell single moms do it . My hats off to them .
  16. It is one of the older models made for First Eagles so you'll need to update the flight model and Loadout for it. Check in the FE download section under flight models. Check through all of Peter01's flight models and see if he redid the flight model and loadout for the Ca-3. I'm not sure if he did. If not we'll have to get on his back to do them . I could use them myself for my make-shift Austrian Italian install. Good luck. I hope it's all in there.
  17. Henry Ford had a job! I've been home the last several months taking care of my 19month old daughter. Daddy daycare if you will. FE has been my "at home hobby". Since my other hobbies have taken a back seat, FE has become my #1. It can be done from home and it doesnt cost anything. Needless to say money is a bit tight with just my wife working. But she had the better job with insurance. Some days I would rather be back into construction . But thats why I skin so much. I'm home most of the time. And I kind of get obsessed over it. I like doing the research and buying new WWI books. I try to get the skins as right as possible. Hope you like them all. I enjoy doing them and I like to share my stuff with everyone. It's so hard to focus on one when there are sooo many to do. I'll be getting a job soon so I have to get as many done now as I can
  18. View File Jasta 19 w random skins for AI and personal use --- For First Eagles Gold --- Fokker Dr.1's of Jasta 19. This download is of the Jasta 19 Fokker Dr.1's with random personal markings. I created a decal pack to help create some of the Jasta 19 ace's aircraft. They will appear at random. Here is a list of who's planes you will encounter or use. 1. Ltn. Walter Gottsch - Staffelfuhrer - White upper wing with white swastika on fuselage. 2. Ltn. Hans Pippart - Yellow wings and black fuselage with yellow dots. 3. Ltn. Hans Korner - White zig-zag arrow on fuselage sides and top. 4. Ltn. Rudolf Rienau - White spiral band around fuselage. 5. Ltn. Arthur Rahn - Black fuselage band with white borders and white diamonds inside. 6. Unknown pilot - Wavy white line on fuselage sides. 7. Unknown pilot - X marking on fuselage sides. 8. Unknown pilot - Solid white bar along fuselage sides. 9. Unknown pilot - Black and white Fuselage Band aft of cockpit. 10.Unknown pilot - Black and white Fuselage Band with a large "4" on rear and top fuselage. 11.Unknown pilot - Solid yellow fuselage band. 12.Unknown pilot - Yellow fuselage band with two vertical black stripes. 13.Unknown pilot - White fuselage band with a black "P". 14.Unknown pilot - White triangle on fuselage sides and top. 15.Unknown pilot - white fuselage with yellow fuselage center and top deck 16. Jasta 19 stock skin with no markings. There might be one or two that appear to have no personal markings. Again this is all done with decals, not skin templates. 20. They're all done . Well almost. Still have some touch ups to do. But all the known Jasta 19 Dr.1 skin decals will be in this pack. 14 I think. All you'll have to do is drop this "FokkerDr1 J19" folder right into your First Eagles/ Objects/ aircraft folder as a new aircraft. Everytime you encounter Jasta 19 Dr.1's you'll see all the skins. This will be just a single ( Stock ) Dr.1 skin of Jasta 19 with lots of decals to create all the other skins. They will appear at random. You can even select the new "FokkerDr1 J19" in the aircraft menu. But you'll never know whose plane you'll be in. Makes it more interesting. There will be more in the readme file. Jasta 11 Dr.1's will be next I think. Then maybe Jasta 12 Alb D.V's
  21. Thanks christian59, I've been looking for a fix for the DIII guns
  22. Just a couple of pics of "AI" Jasta 19 Fokker Dr1's. All the skins are done with decals just like the AlbD.III's. So you'll be able to get in a tangle with all the known Dr.1 aces of Jasta 19.
  23. Just wondering if this is working out for everyone so far? Hope my instructions were ok. If you guys like this I'm working on doing all the Fokker Dr1 skins I have for a couple of Jastas. I'm doing Jasta 11 Dr.1's (I have about 14 ace skins to do decals for) and Jasta 19 Dr.1's ( I think I have about 10 ace skins). These will all work just like the Jasta 11 D.III's. This will take some time though. A lot of decal work. If you open the Decal.ini and the "D" folder for the D.III's you'll see what I mean. But it's worth it in the long run. If only TK made an "enemy selection screen with skin options like IL-2!!!!! Since FEG is a thing of the past I guess it aint goin to happen
  24. View File Jasta 11 D.III's --- For First Eagles Gold --- Albatros D.III's of Jasta 11. This download is of the Jasta 11 Albatros D.III's with the all red fuselages. Implimented late April 1917 to July 1917. The idea was to help Manfred von Richthofen's all red D.III blend in with the rest of the pack. Since there was a price on his head, his fellow airmen of Jasta 11 thought it might be a good idea if he wasn't the only "red" target. but each had an individual touch. So I created a decal pack to help create some of the Jasta 11 ace's aircraft of this time period. They will appear at random and even von Richthofens D.III will appear as well. He might not be the lead plane, but he'll be in there. Here is a list of who's planes you will encounter or use. 1. Manfred von Richthofen "Rittmeister" of Jasta 11 - All red fuselage with over-painted markings. 2. Karl Allmenroder - White nose and spinner with white elevators. 3. Kurt Wolff - Green nose and spinner with green elevators and light blue wheel discs. 4. Karl Emil Schafer - Rear fuselage and complete tail section all black. 5. Georg Simon - A pale green band around fuselage just aft the cockpit. 6. Hans Wolff - An orange band around fuselage just aft the cockpit. 7. Otto Brauneck - Blue nose and spinner with blue elevators. 8. Lothar von Richthofen - Yellow nose and spinner with yellow elevators and rudder. The others you might see are unknowns and made up by me. There will be some that appear to have no personal markings but will have the iron crosses on the fuselage sides and the tail section. I made these with crosses to make them different than Manfred von Richthofens plane. His plane will be the ONLY one with no personal markings and no fuselage and tail crosses. More in the readme file. Enjoy, quack74 Submitter quack74 Submitted 03/17/2010 Category Albatros Skins
