Possible terrain idea? AIRSHOW
scouserlad13 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
An air show base. With static aircraft all over the base. It would only have to be a small terrain seeing as it would only accompany one base. I thought this would be a cool idea, if you are bored of bombing or shooting down, do an air display. I noticed that in the WW1 Flanders terrain there where static WW1 aircraft scattered around with mechanics in front of them. Maybe this could be applied so that instead of mechanics, civilians could be in front of them and also scattered around the base. If any terraining people could do this if people are interested that is. Anyone else think this is a good idea? Also, it would look good for screenshots and stuff. And a MP map as well. Cheers, scouserlad13 -
Heres a pritty good explination about the Burmuda Triangle, Give it a watch Its only 7 mins long, but it does a good job of explaining things.

Possible terrain idea? AIRSHOW
scouserlad13 replied to scouserlad13's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
All i can say about that video is WOW. It looks so real. Its just fantastic. By the way, are there any volunteers for making the terrain seeing as i have no idea how to do it? I will contribute as much as i possibly can. Ill make a couple of missions so that there are other aircraft flying around also doing a small display or flypast. Maybe have a flypast by the Frecce Tricolori as you are waiting on the runway to take off. As noted by wrench, his ASW terrain does have a static display, and also a sing saying Airshows every weekend. Maybe we could tweak that a little bit so it contains more modern aircraft rather than just WW2 aircraft and also few civilians perhaps? -

20 years ago, on april 15th 1989 at Hillsborough football stadium 96 liverpool supporters lost their lives when they where crushed against the barriers that stopped them getting onto the pitch. Its one of the worst disasters in football history. From that day on, football has never been the same again, the barriers have been removed and all stadiums have to be fully seated. Im sure you will join me in showing respect for the fans that lost their lives on that day.... "You will never walk alone"

Did it have a screenshot? Can you remember what aircraft where in the screenshot? -
You should see Australian drivers (No offense any Australians) well, they cant drive at all. They are really impatient and when it comes to round abouts, its like friken wacky racers, everyone pulls out so quick lol. I sometimes actually get scared when its rush hour, and the trucks, well, lets just say they go faster than us sometimes and we are sometimes going over the speed limit (but keep that hush ).....

Apparently my Grandad never bought it again either, its sick they way the portrayed the Liverpool fans. I was watching a program on it last night, and you have to feel sorry for the families because the press wouldn't leave them alone. I hate the press sometimes

Cheers mate, and you are right, they do deserve that. It was lack of police control that caused all of this. You cant imagine how those people felt crushed up against the fence like that. I couldn't imagine the pitch, with all the body's on there. Its an awful tragedy, and one that will hopefully never happen again.

Which is best one to go for
scouserlad13 replied to Fleet Command CC's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Honestly, they are all easy to put addons on because they where all designed with the same engine. Just depends what you want in a game. If you want carrier stuff without the hassle of learning the mission editor, go for WOV, if you want to fight in Europe, WOE, and if you prefer some desert op's in a fictional world, go for SF/SFG. (Ive got SFG, but i would rather have WOV personally) Most of the stuff you find here works on all versions of the game anyway... -

I can do automatic just fine, but manual, i cant get the bloody thing going, but when i am going i do just fine with changing the gears. Its tricky, but ive only had like 1 hour and a bit in a manual so far so i guess ill practice some more....and wreck a car's engine in the process haha Automatic = Ford Feista, its nice.... Manual = Huge Suzuki Grand Vitara, its powerful

Just an idea, Have you got a funny or interesting news story from your country, post it here for the rest of the community so they can see whats going on in the world. I thought it would be a good idea just to see whats going on in the world. I figured with such a multicultural community it would be interesting and alot of story's/reports would come in. Croc checks out Coral Bay Sunday, April 12, 2009 » 07:59pm Crocs aren't on the preferred guest list at Coral Bay, but one has been visiting for the past week. Especially four-metre man-eaters of the saltwater variety, like the one that has been checking the place out for the past week while giving worried wildlife officers the slip. Once the crocodile is pinpointed wildlife officers will decide whether it is practical to remove it from the area or destroy it.

First of all, WOW about the tree in the lung, couldnt imagine that happening to me haha. And second of all, you should just get a pipeline to brisbane. Even though there are water restrictions here haha, but we have just had a huge spell of rain. Ive just done a whole term on water in Australia, turns out in most places damms wont be built anymore because of "eco" groups. Eh we need our water people!!! Hope it turns out alright for you folks....
