Hmmm, not sure if that happens or not with mine. I'll do some more testing. For anyone with invisible fuselage problems, in another thread Wolfman fixed it by installing the latest DX9. Try that, it should do the trick.

I believe you have to make it, then just unzip the file there.

The Prowler is nice but what the heck is up with that paintjob? Looks horrible. It has the potential to be a real winner though. It is a very nice jet however.

I bought MyTraffic tonight to see how well it works with FS9, and it's amazing! Beautiful program. Adds many many AI jets (and you can fly them all too). I sat at Frankfurt Main Airport and let lots of traffic happen and enjoyed the heck out of it. Well worth the $31 bucks. Jetson, I have lots of info already thanks. Just doing some USAF stuff though (been in the service almost 13 years now). It takes a priorty over finishing the Prowler. I will finish it eventually. That's why I released it so you guys could have fun with her until I get the time to complete it. I know many were waiting a long time, I didn't want to drag it out much more.

Heck yeah it is! Beautiful sim! Using the various tweaks at www.avsim.com and www.flightsim.com I get about 30-40 fps. My fav thing to do is fly around Princess Julianna airport. The scenery is all maxed out and looks fabulous. I couldn't be happier. :) All the planes look amazing in it.

"H" key folds wings (slowly) and then canopies open. There are a few paint jobs in there as well, but no panel lines just yet. Very basic stuff, but quite enjoyable. I worked very hard on this jet, esp the landing gear. Check out all the moving parts. :) If you are enjoying it, let me know! Pete

I'm still working on the Prowler when I can. I have other priorities right now though so it's still on the back burner. The FM needs lots of tweaks, that's for sure. It's still fun to fly though.

Big Beer ODBs Hydrofoil after some INI tweaking magic. The ini file is attached. Just drop it into your Objects directory then prepared to get shot at! Going to contact Big Beer and see about getting the gun properly animated (I'll do it for you if ya like Big Beer). Just flew around the ships and 3 seconds later I was a flaming ball O' fire. hehe

Here's after a long night of tweaking to get things right in Strike Fighters. What a learning curve, lots of trial and error. Now that I know what it takes to get a plane working, more will no doubt be on the way after this one.

Enjoy! I changed the date of deployment to much earlier (1968) so you can use it more. If you want it to be more accurate (one site says it was first deployed in 1983, another says 1984, so I don't know which is correct) then change it back to that.

Just got a GREAT Intruder/Prowler video from www.militaryvideo.com that lasts about 40 minutes. Shows in very good detail both aircraft. I now fully understand how the Prowler's jamming systems work. Just awesome stuff! I also was able to see landing gear retraction, and that mine on my model is about 1 second too slow, so I'm now going to speed it up to about a 2 second retract time for all gears. Also wing folding is shown, and on my model it's WAY too fast, so going to try and slow that down a bit as well. It even show's the aircraft pictured here in my sig, except a slight variation on the CY on the tail. The Y is in lower case. Great stuff! Cost about $20 bucks, well worth it.

A-10 Cuba, I absolutely loved that sim. F/A-18 felt similar in a way but really couldn't touch the wonderful physics modeling A-10 had. I still have it and fly it now and then just for fun. Graphsim, well, I hope they started from scratch and built a whole new sim engine. The Korea one was nice but again, lacking in the physics modeling IMHO.

I wonder if this is a 3rd generation Hornet sim by Graphic Simulations. I was a beta tester on the 2nd version, right before Korea. Interesting.
