Here is a link to repainted water tiles for Falklands/Malvinas mod: http://rapidshare.co...70/Terrains.rar Also, I added 2 additional versions of water shaders (just cannot decide which is the best) 1. By default, there is a shaders based on real water textures 2. "Ver 1" was on my previous screenshots, but sometimes water looks like plastic 3. "Ver 2" is similar to native SF textures, water looks more "flat" So you can choose by your taste. Screens to see the difference:

  4. Hi, and thanks for your great work! Of course, Black Death may be a myth. Anyway my knowledge about Malvinas war are not so broad. But I've read another version about "la muerta negra". This may be interesting. Sorry for the offtop.
  5. Playing this mod since first day, but I didn't found any major bugs. I've seen some strange things sometimes (very rare), but that's not a big problem. When I try to start a single player mission on Wessex with mission start positon "near target", than I immediately crashing to the ground. Sometimes(rare) I get a painful hit, but survive. Looks like Wessex is too heavy for low-level flying.
  6. Hi, elephant! I saw your screen in th screenshot thread. Good old SF can show amazingly beautiful pics sometimes. Never heard about term "Black Death" before. But yesterday I read about Falklands/Malvinas war, so now I know what does it mean. Your screen just in time. I will send you a PM about repaints.
  7. Happy New Year to everybody, and many thanks for this great mod. Played Falklands1982 on SFP1 for last 2 years, but never heard about porting it to SF2. That's a great Christmas gift. Tried to play campaign with Bataliуn de Aviaciуn de Combate 601 (Stanley Airfield, 21 May 1982 ) , but everytime my first mission starts at 25, April on Comodoro Rivadavia Air Base. That's because of typo in Malvinas1.ini. "[ArgentinaUnit007]" ID is actually 23, not 22. Fixed, now everything works like a charm. Also, i repainted some terrain and water tiles. With Paladrian's waternormal map, Malvinas became just an eye candy! P.S. Sorry for my bad English... it's not my native language.

    Gr.Viper Спасибо, но я искал другую. Эту я у Капуна качал. Я ее доработал, исправил баги, прикрутил более-менее пристойные кокпиты, переписал заново кампанию (исторически точно, по документам с помощью камрада flak8888), сделал новое меню и экраны, нарисовал несколько скинов для самолетов. Упаковал в экзешник и выложил на filefront. Кое-кто скачал (хотя кто именно - я не знаю). Потом у меня посыпался винт, а с файлообменников все удалили по истечении срока хранения. Вот я и ищу - вдруг у кого сохранилось. Хотя вряд ли....

  22. Looks like campaign engine generated UK transport flight with argentinian plane (in this mod C-130 have no british skin). This could happen if you have no any british transport planes installed. Do you have VictorK2 in game? Anyway, you can fix it. Go to Objects\Aircraft\Westland_Seaking\SH-3_DATA.INI Find string SecondaryRoles=RECON,ANTI_SHIP,TRANSFER Replace word TRANSFER for TRANSPORT Now Seaking will fly transport missions. Really I don't have a clue about TRANSFER, I will be glad if someone will explain. Maybe just typing error. Hope this will help.

  24. First of all - i must say Falklands mod is one of the best for SF1, IMHO. Many thanks to its creators, their work is just great. ktickner6767 I had that problem with my ATI HD3870. Flickering water tiles and shining sea at night on MEDIUM quality settings (on HIGH there were no problems, but I suffered heavy FPS loss). Looks like it depends of video card model. There is the solution that works for me (SFP1, patch V30.08.06). Now about awards. Text files ArgMCM.TXT, ArgMMG.TXT, UKMedalAFC.TXT... and other award text files should be placed to Missions folder. There will be no need in mumbo-jumbo with paths in MedalsARG.INI and MedalsUK.INI (note this two files must stay in Flight folder) Citation string must contain only filename, ex. Citation=UKMedalVC.txt with no path at all. Now you can install game to any folder you like without changing Medals...INI And for last about CTD's. It happens sometimes during campaign when campaign engine starts randomly generated Anti-Ship missions. So I changed in Malvinas1_Data.ini and Operation_Corporate_Data.ini MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=... to 0 for all squadrons. Playing 2 weeks - not a single CTD. Hope it helps.     По поводу объектов. Раньше установка объектов сводилась к скидыванию всех файлов прямо в папку GroundObject. После какого-то патча (не помню какого точно) объекты распознаются только если они аккуратно разложены по индивидуальным папкам.
