I've been flying/adding Skins and Mods to FE since it was released: yesterday I D/L No.10 Squadron RNAS by LloydNB for the Sopwith Camel. I modified the ini as per the instructions (checked it twice, etc.): when I select the squadron and fly, any and all Camels are all 'white' (i.e., no skin) except for the Rudder. I'm sure this is something simple but it has me stumped! Any assistance will be appreciated. Regards, J. P. Is there a way to change the aircraft you're 'given' after starting a campaign in WOE. In other words, I start a campaign and the squadron I'm assigned to is flying the F-15; is there a way to change that (for example) to an F-14? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Regards, J. Kelly

Downloaded the 2 F-14's last night. A/C run fine with Gun, Missile Tone, Gear sounds, etc. but no engine sound (?) Any assistance will be appreciated. Regards, J. Kelly

Has anyone who downloaded the N28 been successful in getting the engine sound to work. The only sound I have is from firing the machineguns; the author does not have any contact info listed. Regards, J. Kelly

Silverbolt et al, I saw a similar post on the Thirdwire forum; lowered Shadows to 'Low' and that solved it. Re the cockpit on/off debate - my 2 cents: having flown in biplanes (Stearman) and sat in both WWI and WWII fighters, unless you have a really large monitor that gives you a 1:1 perspective - I, personally don't feel that one is 'cheating' when not using the cockpit. When I fly FE I use the cockpit toggle to orient myself to the target and turn it back on when I merge. To each his own... Regards, J. Purchased / Downloaded the sim on Monday. Works fine except when I hit the 'Cockpit Toggle' (Num Del) and only a portion of the cockpit tub is removed and I can still see the basic airframe, etc. System Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 GHz 638 MB RAM Direct X 9.0c (4.09) Radeon 1GP 345M ATI RS200M Memory: 128 MB OS: Windows XP/SP2 CDM: 1024 x 768 (32 Bit) @ 60 Hz Any assistance will be appreciated!
